PSA from someone who smoked for over 20 years and quit last September. While the alveoli are permanently destroyed lung tissue cells do regenerate. Within a year of quitting your lung function will return to almost normal, within 10 years your risk of lung cancer decreases by 30-50%. As a kid I always tought: “let’s never be a bad person, just in case jigsaw really exists” 😂
And then you get trapped anyway because your best friend didn’t move quick enough for the vet ambulance carrying jigsaw’s dog that was rushing to the vet

@35:00, reminds me of what happened to Detective Tapp and Detective Sing in 2004's "Saw": they HAD Jigsaw, but STILL managed to lose a 2 on 1 fight and were too STUPID to wait for backup! It's pretty standard police procedure to put the suspect in handcuffs FIRST, THEN you can frisk them or wait for backup.

If I could ask John Kramer one question, it would be "Who killed the people in the hangman game and the shotgun carroussel?". Either William did it and Jigsaw made him a murderer, or Jigsaw did it, declaring his statement of never having killed anyone null and void. Either way, good luck solving that paradox in your self-righteous logic, Jiggy.
And like some traps people genuinely had no real chance at surviving like seriously like I can't remember if he came up with the traps in the 4th movie and in the one with the writer but I thought he did, and like some of them and also the Saw 3 victims had no way if saving themselves! He was killing them.

I don't think John Cramer's philosophy was supposed to hold up under scrutiny by sane people. He's a delusional serial killer; it's only supposed to make sense to him. At least that's how I thought we were supposed to interpret it.
Sidenote tho: one of the directors of one of the sequels commented in an interview that he didn't view Kramer as a killer, so whatdoiknow.. kind of a sociopath comment tbh, which is probably why some of the sequels seems so thematically bankrupt and without conflict.
@@NorthernRealmJackal no, not as simple as that. He was not just insane. In Jigsaw he thanks Anna (the person I was rooting for) for her support during his chemo. But he picked her bc she framed her husband for killing her baby. He made a lot of sense in that movie. The victims were all killers.

He wasn’t, if he accepted he likely would have gotten fired or they would simply have rejected it themselves and reprimand him. Insurance company can’t pay for everyone’s experimental surgeries

This entire Plot is just hilarious. Just imagine the smoker would have won the first test. Then he would have to go through all the traps to get to some people he doesn’t even know. That’s just so fucked up. The smoker prob took the biggest L ever in Saw.
Saw VI is one of the best Saw movies. I really liked it that they showed character development with the protagonist for once. I was sad when he died at the end.
There is more movies and Jigsaw comes back😊

Something to note about the Saw series is that it’s implied that for a lot of traps, in part due to some of them showing it, Jigsaw is watching the players, so attempts to cheat at the game will often be futile.

It was always funny to me how Hoffman found out that the fingerprints he planted with Strahm's hand were not working anymore, yet he STILL decides to plant Strahm's fingerprints in the lab, ESPECIALLY knowing he is going to burn it down anyway🤣🤣🤣
Not a forensic expert but I think the idea is to blame the fire for a bad partial print or as a secondary buffer in case the fire doesn't burn everything

With the steam room trap he could have used his tie wrapped around the levers to pull the levers from a safer position. At least it looked that way on the heat lever
William shouldn't have been killed off. For me, it took the whole point of the game away. On top of that, he was probably really going to turn his life around after that, actually helping people in the future

I think it's great that this is still going. The concept is hilarious that a man who would almost certainly die instantly in any of these movies describes pretty poor advice. That's just kind of off the cuff and yet I don't want to watch these movies so they're still good summaries. Well done!

With the amount of money Jigsaw has, considering the costs of setting up all the traps and that he was a civil engineer. I'm quite sure he could have afforded the experimental gene therapy even without the insurance coverage. The fact that he does afford something similar in Saw X just goes to show that.

When discussing the Oxygen Crusher, there’s one important factor you failed to mention. Holding your breath for extended periods of time and slowing your breathing down becomes much more difficult in high stress situations. The stress triggers your cardiovascular system to work harder, causing you to breathe faster and making your breathing more shallow. Your health, age, and hereditary background won’t do anything to prevent you from experiencing severe stress in a life or death situation, especially one as horrific as this. Even a young, healthy person with a clean hereditary background like William would struggle in this trap.
The Oxygen Crusher is one of the most brutal of Jigsaw’s traps, not because of how it kills the loser, but because it actively makes your own body work against you by inducing severe stress that inhibits your ability to control your own breathing and then forcing you to hold your breath, making an involuntary bodily function a hazard to you and forcing you to fight against your own body to survive, while also pitting you against another person and making your survival dependent on outlasting someone else.
Much like the Shotgun Carousel, the true horror of the Oxygen Crusher comes not from how the trap kills you, but from what it forces you to do and the psychological effects that it brings.
Damaging the helmet works. There was a movie where someone escapes the jaw snap trap by breaking it.
