Thumbs up for the Chairiffs! I got a Breck and I 100% agree with this first impression video. The big issue for me is that the automatic tilt tension adjustment makes it tough for me to lean back (5'11" 200 pounds). I'm never getting a chair without a tilt tension adjustment again. If it wasn't for that and the loud click I sometimes hear while leaning back, I would really like the chair. This chair is good in the heat, but I will be using my Lamia again when it cools down outside.

Hey BTODtv, thanks for the good content! How about spicing it up a little with some European chairs? Here are some suggestions:
    - Bioswing 670 iQ
    - Wilkhahn 175/7
    - Hag Tribute 9031
I understand this is a US-based channel, so we see mostly Steelcase, HM, Haworth and the odd Chinese chair from Amazon, but a little peek across the pond couldn't hurt, could it? The chairs I mentioned above are all rather high-end and quite enjoyable. Cheers.

What's up with that fraying in the material underneath. Looks bad and unfinished.

They have a long warranty, and they take care of their customers, so it's a non-issue.

The seat softness makes me worried about its longevity. My old Zody's seat cushion was soft at first but when you sit in it for long periods it sinks into the bottom, making my thighs numb.

This is going to be a very popular chair for Haworth dealers for smaller conference/collaboration rooms, phone rooms, and possibly higher-end training rooms in the commercial office environment.

Judging from the price alone, it seems like an entry level Haworth chair tbh.

I bought it and returned it almost as quickly as I assembled it.
I am starting to see a trend from BTOD that their hosts are all in pretty darn good shape! This leaves a huge market for heavier folks to not get a great representation of the chairs.
The Breck is one of those. I am 6'1" and 270lbs. Within the Brecks specs, per Haworth. The seat was bottoming out after a week of use and the seats back was far too low to be comfortable. The build quality is hugely disappointing.
In my opinion, the Assure is a much better chair and can be had for quite a bit less on their sales. IF the Breck has been priced at what the Assure is, that would maybe make it a better value. But at the price it is, which is $506CAD, it's not any better than a $200 Amazon chair.

So you’re saying my take was accurate though. That is how I described it for people, so even though I’m not 200+ lbs I made sure people who were would understand this isn’t a good option for them 🙂 -Greg

@@btodtvyes and no, I suppose. I think there should be more accountability towards Haworth releasing a chair that, while might be okay for shorter/smaller folks, really does not punch in its price range.
And if I may offer a suggestion - it would be a welcomed addition to have a larger/taller reviewer. Seems like a large enough audience, but no real suggestions that work.
