Not a grump fan here, but what is the "international law" of which you speak forbidding a US embassy in Jerusalem? And realistically, isn't that a pretty antisemitic law if it actually does exist? A very casual read of history makes it very cleat that Jerusalem is a Jewish city. Just looking at the spelling makes it a dead giveaway.

The recording ended abruptly, so maybe there is more about the Iran issue to come.
    In case:
As T. withdrew US from the IranNuclearFramework deal, the Iranian government has been a moderate one, lead by Rafsandshani, by all other framework partners confirmed to follow th obligations of the deal, interested in resetting international relationships of Iran and thereby increasing prosperity and standard of living IN Iran.
With the withdrawal from the deal and re-imposing sanctions that government had no more opportunities to proof Iranians the plausibility of their approach - and subsequently lost following elections against hardliners.
Only THESE hardliners increased Iran's malign interference in the region's conflicts to the level we know today, then corporate with RuZZia to the level we know today and thereby laid the groundwork for October-07-2023.
Due to that - T. should just SHUT UP concerning everything about this region and these conflicts.
As elsewhere HE caused epochal changes of the course of events to disaster.
Not at least - withdrawing from such a multilateral deal parallel to the withdrawal from the Paris climate accord will not only be a lasting stain on US's credibility and standing - it makes such deals much less feasible in general.
And that applies as well for "negotiated settlements" with and about Ukraine.

How is he still going to be bffs with Putin if he allows them to even support Ukraine? That's the issue he says he can handle Putin because they are best friends, how does that play when our country is supporting the other side? Will he side with us, I think he just wants to hold onto power. He thinks Putin knows how to help him do that, and he will help Putin before he helps Ukraine. Also we have seen this movie before, pick up any history book or google what happens when Russia starts invading countries. The best defense is a good offense, like the old republicans who tore down the Berlin Wall we should never let Russia do whatever it wants, that's un-american.
