@@basketpilipinas2022 Not sure kung bakit. I guess, they find it unnecessary kasi they start end end at the exact time. Pero ang alam ko, they added it pagkatapos ng Halalan 2007. They removed it a few years after. Di ko alam bakit.
@@senorpedrosrooster Siguro masyadong malaki ang orasan. Ang natandaan ko, yung logo ng RPN News, it appears on the lower third of the screen during a news report, tapos doon pa sa posisyon ng orasan. So siguro matatakpan ng orasan yung logo.
@erwingalgo3264 One Western Visayas only premiered in 2018. Tsaka wala pang GMA RTV noon in which yung Radio GMA (RGMA Network Inc.) pa yung producers ng local programs nila.
The automation of our election system was enacted in January 2007 through Republic Act 9369, just months before the midterm polls. However, it wasn't implemented nationwide until the 2010 presidential elections. The ARMM region served as a pilot test in 2008. But prior to automation, there is a law authorizing the COMELEC to modernize the election (RA 8436) enacted in 1997. If we recall the supposed use of automated counting machines and the Comelec-Mega Pacific controversy, isa ito sa mga legal basis, only to be called off due to alleged red tape kaya hindi natuloy ang automation.

I bet tumaas ang ratings ng GMA election coverage 2004 that time compared to ABS CBN
