I said it in the other video and I'll say it again, MTL got it all. MT' Pop's first round absolutely, positively sick. But J style's second round was beautiful with the raw groove and vibe. A tie-breaker would of done justice but I agree with the decision.
I know this is 2 yrs late but I agree with you. That other judge was wack!!! You can straight up see it was a tie. MT popped in his second round. No grooves what so ever. But hey, we move

That felt like a tie. Grooves and vibes aren't MT Pop's forte. That's not to say he doesn't have some groovy-ass moves, he does, but he's obviously inclined toward popping and isolation moves.

You're not content....why not watch another event? Find it weird....there's soooooo many straight popping events!! Heck all the events are straight popping events. Events that celebrates, how individuals abide only and solely to sharp and impactful muscle contraction. All in a counterfeit aggression to prove that we are more menacing than we sincerily are. Forget and obliterate any idea of being creative and inventive by doing amalgamates and fusion of different dances birthed through the Boogaloo Culture lineage. No No No don't you dare because the sole focus is to contract your muscle sharply, impactfully and rhythmically with a counterfeit idea of aggression. This event is created for those individuals in the world that don't only want to express their artistic existence in the Boogaloo Culture lineage with sharp & impactful muscle contraction and with a fictitious energy of onslaught. JOAT is created at the core for the marginalized that have appreciation for other styles, for example a Tutter, Waver, Animator, Ticker, Glider, etc.
If you're not happy why not watch a squarely, unambiguously(to your standards) straight popping event.....JOAT is one of the very few events in the world in this format. So far to my knowledge there is only 2(Book Of Styles and JOAT)? 2 events created by thinkers of my collective, Rashaad Hasani Pearson and myself. Which brings me to this question: 2 events in this world, comparatively to the the incalculable amount of events there is in the world is really bothering you?
Your questioning and reasoning is the imperative and abiding reason why these events needs to exist.
