Yes! Firstly, Thank you for the great description of Crisis Communication issues! I think that not only for me would be interesting also to know how works CC not subsequently after crisis, but initializes crises for competitors and wins afterwards. How to use CC not for defence, but for attack. Nowadays a lot of companies use that trick.
Thank you for response! Great example is an Apple's presentation of iPhone in 2007, where Jobs claimed that phones no needs keyboard, removable battery and other features. And afterwards other companies had no answer and get crisis occurrence.
I guess I think of that not as an immediate media crisis but a slow moving business crisis where one player (apple) has made a product that makes other products seem obsolete.There is no message or sound bite that will solve this problem. Instead, you need to build better phones. fyi I will address this in a show I record today and post later this month
