I am so proud that I am working hard on my candles as I have 3 candle lamps going in my house at all times and I am really succeeding but then Kringle came along lol!! I like this style video. I think we are all in a similar boat!! We love candles, can’t resist new ones, get backups of favorites and have a collection that’s grown huge! I’m trying to be more intentional as well but it’s a work in progress! I have a closet that houses my collection and it HAS to fit within there. That’s my rule for myself. I always seem to break even every month to , not really making a dent but that’s ok I love my collection. We will just keep trying!!!
Hi Katie. I really enjoyed this video so much! I am like you in that I can get overwhelmed with the amount of candles in my collection. When alot of the new collections are released, I try so hard to just enjoy what I have....but yesterday I must confess that I went to Bath & Body Works and got 2 candles, Hummingbird Tea Cake and Tiki Beach. I have never bought Tiki Beach and just wanted to try it, and, of course, Hummingbird Tea Cake is new this year. Even though I had a few more on my list, I kept it to two. Some of the reviewers in the candle community have hundreds of candles. It can be an obsession, and especially keeping up with all the new candles coming out each season. Thank you for your content. Yes, it’s always a search for balance. So much newness can be overwhelming. If I didn’t have my channel, I’d be totally set with not needing/wanting anything more until Fall releases (because I can’t turn those down 🤦🏼♀️😂). Even though my collection is still large for my taste, knowing exactly what I have & frequently looking at it helps me enjoy old favorites while also giving me permission to pass on candles I think someone else will enjoy.
Jamie from Kringle recently said Carrot Cake will not be restocked this year. Pink Sands is my family's favorite summer scent. I haven't tried Yankee's 3 wick yet, but Goose Creek's Pink Beaches is a better dupe than BBW Flamingo Beach.
This is such a great video! You decluttered a lot of good ones...I was clutching my pearls as you mentioned some of faves 😂. As a reviewer there will always be something new to review but atleast you made it down to your goal of 75 at one point 😂. I love this video and that you do this! Ive recently inventory'd my whole collection of candles and body care things, my main concern is my candles though. I enjoy burning and smelling all the different scents-- its a favorite hobby of mine. These candle companies make me casually hoard candles though and I've never been a hoarder before candles 😅 so I'm ok bringing new candles in, but I am making myself be more particular about what I am adding in. Intentionality has been a theme for me this year also!✨️
Oh I’m glad you enjoy it! I’m really very similar. I don’t generally have hoarding tendencies, but I do like variety & fragrance does bring me some happiness. I have found that being really intentional about what I’m purchasing this year has actually helped me enjoy my collection more than when I just wanted to buy everything. 😊

I was burning lemon poppy muffin this morning! It’s so good. I bought way too many candles in February 😬 I feel good about March though 🤣 Been loving this series!
I’m actually burning that right now! I’m thinking it will be finished after today. Oh yes, the budget was totally blown last month, but I’m hopeful things will slow down this month to give us all some time to enjoy our new goodies & breathe😂
Thanks for sharing. As of now, I’m at 52 (goal: 50); however, I ordered several new Kringle fruit 3 wicks. 🤭 We agree on Kringle Jellybean Jubilee. We may be in the minority as we don’t care for this fragrance. Hopefully the scent will be improved next Spring. Enjoy your new candles. R☘️
Hi Katie! I’m currently trying to stick with my current candle collection (around 180) and burn what I have and budget. I haven’t ordered since the first week of January but I just purchased 2 Homeworx candles at Marshall’s last week.
@@katiesjoyfullife I was able to find an older pour of the Farmstand Blueberry in the glass jar and a Sun Kissed Lemon candle. Both repurchases and classics 😊
