In Invincible Angstrom is eager to exact his revenge against Mark but is currently under the control of the technicians who he had previously begged to save him
The technicians punish him for his outburst and Angstrom protests that he’s done everything they’ve asked and more, creating a perfect world for his saviours
After some reflection, they realize they have no more use for Angstrom and tell him he is free to go
In the meantime in Invincible’s dimension the world is dealing with the aftereffects of Dinosaurus’ latest experiment and he proceeds to finish off what we later find out is a clone of Invincible live on television for the whole world to see
So when Angstrom arrives, he wonders what has happened and is dumbfounded when he reads the front page of the news feed
Later on we see someone on their morning jog, waving to their neighbours in a pleasant neighbourhood, before picking up the morning news
Angstrom Levy stretches out and returns back to his house, admitting that nothing is better than being back in his home dimension especially after learning the fate of Invincible
But when he puts down the newspaper and actually takes the time to read the headline, Angstrom spits out his coffee in utter disbelief that his archnemesis is still alive
This time he heads straight for Invincible’s home but instead of Debbie and Oliver, he runs into Atom Eve

Static shock was named after the first black lawyer, Virgil Hawkins, VA Phil Lamarr who has range from samurai jack to fft Ramza Beoulve. I also think of Thurgood Marshall, a good justice unlike Clarence Thomas in that regard lol. No way I'd know any of them would be black on name alone.
