Thanks, Tim for the great and well-explained technical demo of the Reyee products and another video on this channel. I have a few questions 1. Will you be offering any Reyee certifications ? 2. I have a number of Reyee WiFi 6 setups, they are working really great for small sites. But having a challenge with large deployments with 700+ devices, devices tend to try and connect to one AP. The APs being used are the WiFi 6 Reyee Dual Band WiFi 6 1800Mbps Gigabit Ceiling Mount AP | RG-RAP2260(G), clients try to connect to one AP, instead of load balancing over the multiple devices. The APs are densely setup, most devices support WiFi 6. The above AP has a maximum of 500 connections, so it drops the 501st connection and higher. Would you recommend Reyee for dense setups e.g auditoriums, concerts, stadiums , and what would you suggest in terms of loadbalaning the WiFI connections. e.g for 700 devices to have 3APs distribute the clients connected to e.g 233 on each AP.

Thank you for your comments and glad you are enjoying the content!
      1) Once we are satisfied with the quality of content and exam questions (in English) it is definitely something we will consider.
      2) The hardware should be capable of HD types of deployments. Using a culmination of load-balancing, TX power levels and roaming optimisation should work. It really depends on the clients and what sort of performance you are looking for. We would typically recommend more AP's with more strict settings to manage coverage area sizes and signal overlap between AP's. Please reach out to us directly and we can try to assist you.

      Hi Alonzo,
We have not viewed / tested those models, so are not able to provide an informed opinion.

Meshing is model dependent and will not work with third party products. If you are using Gigabit Reyee access points you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm looking for a powerful WiFi router that can do DNS firewalling like the Mikrotik, as in force port 53 traffic to my rasberry pi (pi-hole), but have great Wifi. I have a mikrotik but the WiFi on mikrotik is a joke. but then firewalling on other routers are a joke, so need a best of both worlds...?

If you favour the MikroTik brand, then take a look at the Audience router from MikroTik. They provide fantastic range due to high output power and high-gain antennas while retaining the features that you require.

@@scoop_distribution been on my radar as I prefer mikrotik but do this device hold a candle to the likes of unifi’s APs or even the new Tenda and tplink devices, I guess the question is actually “when Wi-Fi 6 mikrotik”?

In terms of range, from what we have tested, the Audience does really well and only drops off against WiFi 6 products. This is due to WiFi 6 providing great speeds and range to WiFi 6 clients. Currently, there is no mention of WiFi 6 MikroTik devices, so you may have to rely on the other brands for this.

@@scoop_distribution South Africa and it's unique issue called Eskom, means the options are so limted, becuase my initial idea was a Routerboard no wifi feeding into a TP link or Unifi AP, but to power that setup requires a different solution, right now I have a Ellies Cube, that does 9V DC, 12v DC and USB out, so it powers my mikrotik rb951ui-2hnd and my raspberry pi which is the DHCP and DNS (pi-hole) and then the Tenda AC3, for Wifi, but the Tenda doesn't always "listen" to my rules. and then DNS leaks and suddenly pandora and netflix doesn't work as intended.
But via the mikrotik the PORT 53 nat rules are solid, the only issue is the mikrotik's Wifi is everything but solid.
I guess I will need to give the Audience a go, if anyone is reading this with an Audience lying around, please lend it to me for a weekend so I can test it.
