This tutorial's originally intended for Mikieezz, but should also help others.
Please note this was intended for those already familiar with the most widely used commands (Push/Pull, Rectangle, Move, Copy, Rotate, Erase, Group, and etc.).
Thank you all so much for your nice comments! I initially made this channel to upload Sketchup tutorials, but expanding to other areas was ultimately what fate had which I'm glad I listened. Reading your thoughts and theories are delightful as is also replying to you! I can't reply to all of you, but to those who I have missed I'm sincerely grateful for your time in visiting, and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a safe rest of the 2019 year!
The (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
) COPPA act of 1998 will become expanded. Basically I will get the option to either check *This upload is kid intended* or *This upload is adult intended* The former will disable all comments amongst other things like no ad revenue. I could just check the latter, but there'll be yearly audits conducted by the FTC and if they deem an upload is primarily aimed for kids, and by 'kids' the FTC defines as under 13 years old, my channel could get deleted and/or get fined $42000 per upload violation.
Though not set in stone until January 01, 2020, this will hurt other RUclipsrs who earn primary income through RUclips.

I love this kind of music for tutorials. Most of the music is happy or cheerful or just way over the top annoying. But this made it more enjoyable to watch. I also liked the pop up messages of what you're doing. A lot of these it just has people flying through it without talking or any idea of what they're doing.

Nice, can you explain why did you make the rectangle a group at the beginning? What are the advantages of a group? Also, I noticed you didn't use different layers, is there a reason why you didn't?

+Omar Alamoudi (عمر العمودي) Hi Omar. I made it a Group because grouping makes an object AND everything connected to that object a single entity. Imagine the foundation, walls, and furniture are all in their own category: foundation, walls, and furniture. Now say you want to move them each to a different coordinate. Without grouping them moving each would be terrible because in Sketchup all edges are connected to other edges. Moving a wall, which is connected to the foundation, would distort it. A fix? Make the wall and foundation each a Group so to 'trick' the program into thinking the edges aren't connected. Or, Group the foundation and then 2x click it to draw the walls; this will mean foundation/walls are turned into one Group object.
As for layers, this was just a quick how-to tutorial. Layers are important, and Group objects can be set to a particular layer.

Draftsman, architect, interior designer--these professions are very related to each other and uses CAD programs. SketchUp's a great one in my opinion; simple yet powerful. I have used AutoCAD before for years, but it's too complex for beginners albeit very solid once you're pro at it.

+adams osayande Hi Adams. This tutorial was used using Google's Sketchup. It's free with some limitations as opposed to the Pro version which isn't free. Pretty powerful yet easy to learn!
