- So, I'm obsessed with this song calle "Okay" by Backhouse Mike and they did a rendition of it in the Nickelodeon show Victorious in three different episodes: Beggin' on Your Knees, Jade Gets Crushed and Tori Goes Platinum. I hope you all enjoy this little compilation.

Not sure if anyone knows this, but I found a video dated 6 years ago that had Liz singing with mike, the original person who sang okay, and it’s like heaven. Guessing when that Andrew scene came, that smile was from the happy memory attached to it.

Love both their voices. Liz was older and more experienced with singing, so of course her vocals were more mature, Victoria was 17 here. Anyway, Victoria still sounded great, so no need to bring her down. They are so different you don't have to compare them

I’ll say it. Victoria has her sound. Liz her hers. They’re both great singers. In their own way. One doesn’t have to be better than the other. It’s just Victoria’s sound is more pop and teenage because well that’s her personality. Whereas Jades is so emotional and soulful well that’s her personality. When you sing as a character you match your voice to the character. They both did phenomenal matching that. However I do wonder how they truly sound, I’ll look it up in a bit. However from my perspective (IMO), they both sing very well and match their characters to a tee. For example, if they switched voices. Jade, pop and Victoria, soulful. We would think they sound awful , because it doesn’t match the person. Basically why it fits so well and they both are great singers. p.s jade has more experience for sure but Victoria has a sound there, quality potential for a singer. Again, haven’t listened to any of their original.
I need Vic and Liz to collaborate on this one together just the two of them 😭

This is such a good example on how different their voices are, Liz has a lot of debth and vibrato , a classic , jazz / musical theatre singer m Victoria has a straight forward and a sharp voice , it’s perfect for pop and pop/rock signs with tons of belts , both incredible tho
I think that I'm the only one who enjoyed more Tori's version. I love Jade's voice and she obviously did her work amazing but somehow for me it's something in this song, what makes Tori's voice here more enjoyable in my ears.

I loved when Liz and Ariana got their singing parts on the show. Don’t get me wrong, Vic is very talented with a beautiful voice, but *IN MY OPINION* Liz and Ariana had/have a more mature voice making it sound more relaxing and smooth. *Once again this is JUST an opinion. I found a crack in the victorious universe. The episode of Andre having a crush on jade was the same episode when Andre had to “write” a song with jade and it ended up becoming the same song tori already sung with Ryder a few episodes before. The same situation with Teddy from good luck Charlie “writing” a Christmas song but it was same one that Demi lovato sang in sonny with a chance a few years back.
