- How to setup Siri as your voicemail assistant video. Siri will answer as your voice mail assistant and greet your caller and direct them as you see fit. Example of verbiage: Hi, my name is Siri, Mr. Sales personal Assistant, is there something I can help you with. Mr. Sales is currently busy. Please leave your name number and a brief message and I will notify him when he's free to call you back. If it's really important please text him. Thank you for calling and have a bless day.
Love! So clever! Your instructions were clear and precise. Thanks!
I know this is very late in getting to you but I wanted to thank you for a great tutorial. I found it just trying to make a better voicemail but had to post that I wish I'd seen this years ago. you have a knack for teaching... hope it stuck. all the best Sir, JJ
Yes. I too think he teaches very well!!!
Awesome. Thanks for doing this and placing it on RUclips!
No problem, thanks for watching!
I don’t like my nausel voice so this will be great hope I get all your updates
Great job making the video!
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it. I did a 2019 revamp if your looking for a updated version using different types of devices to get the same result.
Hello there, I was looking for a siri VMSG set up and show your video. I love it and I cant wait to do one. But my question is if I don't have another iPhone would my MacBook Pro be use full? please let me and I thank you for making this great video and hoping to hear from you soon.
Abdullahi Ahmed I really apologize. I just saw your comment. If any possible way your still interested I posted up a 2019 edition using more then just a iPhone. Thanks for checking out my video. Cool
I only have my iPhone 7 plus is their a way to do it with just my phone I have a Samsung tablet can I use that or just apple devices
Apple needs to buy this idea from you and set it as an option on the iPhone
Hi there how are you? I actually have a Samsung Note 4 cell phone, but I do have an iPad. I was wondering if there is a way that I can record the Siri voice mail onto my iPad and record it for a voicemail greeting for my Samsung? Thank you for your time and hope you have a great day.
Lindsay, I first would like to apologize for the late response. I've been pretty busy proudly serving this great country. So to answer your question, you would type up the verbiage on your iPad and then have Siri read it from your iPad and record it as a voicemail greeting on your Samsung Note 4. I hope this answers your question. Please ask if you need more help. Thanks again for watching.
Thank you for your service.
Hi, how would I do this with only an iPhone? I do not have an iPad or iPod or additional cell phone. But I do have a MacBook Pro - Mid 2012. Thank you.
+Dylandra Holden Hi, thank you for checking out my videos, please share this amazing feature with friends. As for your setup, the best way to go about this for you would be to write the script on your iPhone and play back the script to your Mac book. Have the MacBook record the audio coming from your iPhone. Then play back that recording to your iPhone when your recording your voicemail greeting. I hope that was a help. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi only have my IPhone need your help please. Thank you in advance
anyway you might walk thru this again for 2019? Things don't look the same and apps are not the same as 2015. Thank you 😀
Hi chuckwagon56 I was just thinking about that. I will take you up on that. I will be redoing this video with updated devices and ideas. The remake is on its way!
Heads up I posted the new and improved video!
Chuckwagon56 same basic concept; one phone to speak, one to record. Like recording off the tv to cassette back in the day! 😎
If you haven’t already seen the 2019 version of this same video here’s the link: ruclips.net/video/8lxIJeXE9BA/видео.html You can also find it on my channel. Thanks for checking out my video. I hope this will be of help.
How do you do it if you only have one iPhone? Really cool idea by the way.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. So, for your question. Do you own a iPad,tablet,iPod touch, laptop, desktop or something you can record your voice with and also does that device have a speaker?
iMovie? Really?
I only have a Stylo L6 and I do not have any other devices
Hi, unfortunately your going to need a secondary device of some sort to playback and record.
one phone
My phone doesn't seem to be recording anything. No idea what's wrong with it. Not on silent etc
Tia, first I would like to thank you for checking out my channel. For your issue I will need to ask you a few questions to pin point your issue with your iPhone(I'm assuming it's a iPhone please correct me if it isn't). Are you using the voicemail app to record(if not then what app)? Try a different app to conduct a test recording to see if the mic on the iPhone works? What iPhone do you have(again please correct me if it isn't a iPhone)? Have you tried using headphones that have a built in mic(your iPhone comes with a pair of headphones with a mic) to record with(if recording works with the headphones, but not the iPhones mic then this could be a hardware issue)? Please answer those questions and let me know your results. If your still under Apples warranty and you try these things out and nothing seems to work a trip to the Apple Store may be needed, but I will do my best to help you out here first.
i need info on an old iPad
George scully sorry I’m just seeing your message. I starting to realize I was on deployment around this time these messages came in. If you still help please let me know and thanks for checking out my video.
I don’t have another device 😱
Thank you for checking out my channel. You can use a laptop, desktop, anything that can record and playback audio. I really hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your day.
