Hotel Diablo is such a good album I hope everyone who has joined the mgk team recently for his pop punk sound, also goes back and listens to his rap stuff too. The quarantine sessions were amazing as well. Such a good artist all around.

I was sitting in my girls bed because I ditched everything and moved in with her and I was so absolutely broken inside when I heard tickets to my downfall and it made me feel somthing for the first time in a long time (mostly lonely and banyan tree). I’m not sure if he will ever read these comments but I’ve been following him for 12 years, his music help me through the worst time in my life. I was alienated from my family, I was abused in every way that could be imagined and he helped me get through it. That being said, if pop punk is what makes him happy, if rap/ hip hop makes him happy, DO THAT! Never stop doing what makes you happy because happiness is so hard to come by. Been a huge MGK fan since his rap days and enjoyed his transition into pop punk but at times was conflicted with his authenticity of his new style of music. Man this interview really changed my perspective, he is as real as it gets. Let the man live and make music that we can all appreciate.
I’ve been a fan since I was 14(?), back in 2013. To watch Kells grow into what he is now has been so fun to watch and be a part of. I used to listen to his new albums at midnight either high or drunk; fucked up regardless. I got sober in March about a week before this album dropped. This was my first sober album premiere listening experience, so this’ll have a special place with me no matter what.
you TORE his heart out when you mentioned his father bonding - his brain went straight to happiness - but you immediately threw in, as he smiled, that his father died - that was a heartbreaking split second.

I love this guy. There’s always been something about him and the way he connects with fans. I was at a Tech N9ne concert and he was there with a few friends. He was quiet and believe it or not very respectful to those around him. A pre-teen girl and her mom saw him. The little girl was a big fan. He talked to her for a little bit and gave her an autograph. She was so stoked to have met him. The more I see him in videos etc the more I like him as a person. Corny I know.

I love this man. The first time I saw him live was him opening for Tech N9ne. That show cost me $25, 10 years ago. Kells changed my life. He isn't just a famous guy I fantasize about. He's the person I share all of my emotions with. I'm just one girl in this big world. I know my odds of ever meeting him are slim to none. That does not matter to me though. His music is everywhere in my life. For that, I can't thank him enough.

I remember days rolling down mainstreet with all black ripped jeans and hoodies in the summer jamming to his music with a friend who was like a brother to me who eventually took his own life so whenever I hear his older music I just get punched in the gut with this deep emotional feeling like the old days are over and the worse is yet to come. Colson will always be such a huge part of my life.

hard to believe I use to hate MGK years ago around 2017/2018 and now I cant stop listening to his music. I literally hated him because the Hate mob told me too and now I feel stupid for ever listening to them. Especially back when the MGK/ EM drama happened. I love Em a lot so I mindlessly took Em's side and hated MGK when I shouldnt have.
I didn't even know his dad died until this you can see the look on his face you can tell it still hurts him and I can understand. No one especially since he's still young me and him being the same age can just imagine one of their parents dying. you dont just get over something like that.

Man if someone gave me the chance to meet anyone in the world I'd never get to meet otherwise, I'd choose to meet you Colson. You are so fkng genuine man. It's super shitty you had to explain this shit to these people before they got it. I knew way back when I first heard you that you were an "alien". This world is fkd up right along with most of the ppl in it. So much shade thrown at you over the "switch" but man I saw that as adding to your catalog. Soon as you did that, I understood what you were doing. I fkn loved it. I just wish you'd have kept doing both bc I relate to your music on both ends of the spectrum being an artist myself. I rap, I sing, I play guitar, and alto saxophone. I dabbled with piano and drums as well. I don't even know if you'll ever see this but man you are a serious inspiration to me. I don't have many friends bc I only want ppl around me who aren't completely toxic and those who inspire me. Unfortunately, those kind of ppl dont come in plenty so I mostly jus kick it by myself. I wish I knew you bro as you are the one person who has reached me when nothing and no one else could pull me from the darkness that's enveloped my life. I've been thru so much bad shit. From having cancer, to losing my kids, to becoming an alcoholic, and committing suicide on my 1st Harley. I was dead for 3 mins and 33 seconds. Some of the music you've made expressed exactly what I'm feeling inside. Left me reeling. Like you just opened up my head and took all the thoughts and feelings I had and converted them into masterpieces. This is why I wish you and I were friends. Even if we never get to meet each other, I just wanted you to know that you have had a major impact on my life and I appreciate tf out of you for all your hard work bc without it, I dont know how my story wouldve turned out. I offer my condolences for the loss of your Dad, Aunt, and Unborn child. I'm sure that was a super difficult time for you bro. You're probably still healing. I'm sure that wound will be open a long time. You have changed so many peoples lives with your music, I just hope you have someone or a solid group of ppl who can be there for you in your time of need.
