Innovation Office of IDiBE

The Institute of Research, Development, and Innovation in Health Biotechnology of Elche (IDiBE) has had an Innovation Office since 2018, which works to transfer the institute's research results to the productive sector. Additionally, it provides guidance to research groups on obtaining both national and international funding and offers specialized training.
Among the successes of IDiBE's technology transfer activities, it is worth noting that in its two decades of existence, it has developed numerous projects with companies, filed more than 35 patent applications (most of which have been licensed), and founded 11 spin-off companies based on the technology developed at the institute.
Currently, our research groups are open to collaborations with innovative companies to develop and transfer new knowledge. Our goal is for research and innovation to reach both the productive sector and society.
