Where was the, ummmm… that red stuff… whatta ya call it?! ummmmmm… FIRE! THAT’S IT! Where was the FAR?! lol Not complaining. Just messing with ya! Loved the apparatus shots!
Interesting 3 pieces of Fire Apparatus (Ladder Truck, Engine, and an Engine equipped with a Sqirt), and a heard an half of Pickup Trucks. Just an observation would it not have been a better operation with setting up the ladder truck as it was a reverse lay form it via the engine back out to hydrant. When the Sqirt arrived have them drop another supply line and go back to actual fir ground and put their Squirt to good use attacking the burning material from an alternate angle from the Ladder Truck. Yea yea I know after the fact fire ground direction is always easier since you get to the fire ground from different angle's and have all the apparatus onsite to sort out. Just observing.
Not sure I'm a fan of having that valve handle in that location. If you have catastrophic failure of that house coupling your driver is going to be in for a rude awakening.
It won't reach. Of course not, your trying to connect a front suction to a plug you drove past trying to stop, after taking a turn faster than needed to a mulch fire.
Why waste all of this manpower and equipment for something they could have dug out and let smolder or left one unit wetting it down as they dug it out . I’m sorry we can’t respond to your house fire or emergency because we are putting out a mulch fire with every truck in 4 districts. Total lack of leadership!!!
Your absolutely correct, it's a freaking mulch fire that's in the middle of a field surrounded by massive dirt piles, the guy on that front loader could have put that out by dumping that dirt on whatever fire was there let alone damn near a full box response, for what?? One engine, maybe 2 at most if you have a long stretch from the hydrant and that front loader would have been plenty, draining out your cities assets for a mulch fire that's surrounded by dirt is not smart leadership and that FEO driving that fast especially into a turn like that is just crazy, he needs to get his adrenaline under control, next time he might not be so lucky and what good is the FD if you don't make it to the scene!!
Automatic aid...but yea I agree with you in that all that apparatus is a waste. I think it's on the first arriving apparatus's officer to recall the balance. I hate seeing a shit ton of pieces on bullshit calls.
I'm confused. You show up to a fire with tank top shorts. Wow, and your professionals. You all would be wrote up and be placed on probation. This would never happen in my house. Safety fire.
@@adamgannaway6017 no not really..in every country u will mostly see the driver in plain close arriving on scene...an the driver mostly do the water part bye connect the hoes to the truck wile others position dem selfs. unless him have to gear up for a reason like the others!
0:34 Has to be my favorite part, homie just eating like it's another day.
Took me a moment to realize they were gonna relay pump for the 1st due engine. Good job Belvidere.
Yes definitely needed that for this deep seated fire ,plus the length amount of supply street line and lastly...supplying the aerial pieces .
Speeding that quick for a mulch fire.. I can only imagine how quick they'll knock down a building fire 🔥
That's a true volunteer effort. Good guys!
He drove that engine like he stole it 😂
Nice job 30 for picking up the hydrant on the second due assignment. Too many company’s in the county will see it’s already connected and pass it by
One of my favorite pieces from down your ways brother Excellent clip
I like how these guys hustled.
Slooooow down 30.
Don't need to add a rollover to this assignment.
LoL
Ya really wtf ..
Other than some PPE slips, the operation looked pretty good overall, thanks for the video!!🇺🇸🇺🇸
Fast hook up and water delivery!👍
amazing video an great footage on the mulch fire
Gotta love the MPO driving
Wow he took that like a boss dam inwounder how he would drive for a person hit lol Great Drive time
Nice one mate 🧑🏻👍🏻🔥👩🏻🚒👨🏻🚒🚒
Great video Frank
Yo, whats up!
Thank you.
Were they haven connection problems with connection at first
I thought the rig was going to flip making that turn!

Did my guy get off the engine eating a sandwich?
yep lol
Yo, that shyt is wild.
I never noticed until you said something on here. I'm gonna kick that boy's azz.
Nothing interrupts sandwich time!!!
Great video + audio!!! Rarely do I see 'squirts'.
Squrts*
Nice wheel chocks
Hittin it hard from the mulch pile😂😂
Aheee!!!

Also known as four guys doing one guy’s job.
Sence when do fire fighters spray mulch on a fire
Do what..?
We're not issued cargo shorts and sleeveless tees
I don’t know it all but straddling the supply line is a bad idea. That’s a mistake you would only make once. See thumb nail picture.
1 was this a volly dept
2 i love the quick water supply
Yes volly
Ts and ps thank you so much
Straddling a 4” under pressure than just chillen on it and never choking the wheels…c’mon man
He would have been choking on his giggleberries had that come loose
Chocking*
Chock the wheels? ….. ridiculous

Such a large response for a seemingly non-existent fire.....
Also, they seriously have an engine named Squirt??!! 🤣
Yo,you silly.
Squrt, and yes, because that is the nickname for the Articulating Water Tower Engine across the US Fire Service.
8 guys doing what 1 should have been doing.
The fugg kind of math are you doing?
Yo ,you silly
Safety wise to fast on entering, hard breaking, and no wheel chocks.
Wh is the guy in the tank top and shorts? A volunteer firefighter? No other way he wouldn’t be removed by the police if he wasn’t.
Well considering the fact that he drove the engine there and operated the pump I think it’s fair to assume he is a volunteer…

Why remove the humat valve? Absolutely no reason to unless he didn’t know how to hook into it correctly.
?
@@mcembuff yes?
Nvm.
@@mcembuff Nevermind what? Are you just a typical huff that really has no idea how apparatus works? Probably. Move along buff

Green Fire Truck? Really?
Yes! Really! What’s wrong with it
@@cat740dt Red...Red is the color for fire trucks.
@@ranger2316 where is that law written?
@@cat740dt Ranger's law of Red Fire Trucks of course. Yep, Red is the correct color!
On top of everything else that was said. Do they know squirt is spelled wrong?
It’s not spelled wrong, in the fire service these trucks are called Squrts, there’s no I in it…
It's not spelled wrong. "Squrt" with no (i) is a brand name.
I thought when that abdominal pain came over surely they'd flip a vehicle this time
Abdominal pain and flipping a vehicle..?
That makes no sense.

wow didn't think that off duty ffs without gear could work on the fireground
New thing now. Gear is optional.
Him is the driver! Him don't have to gear up same time as everyone else..
Is that the new standard?
