Logic is a great daw, they are just very different from one another. Different philosophies on how to approach writing music. But all in all, you can do pretty much everything with both
@@JanusRasmussen 1 hour every Saturday shoot the whole thing for the whole week (maybe change t shirts in between 😜) you know like people who cook food for the whole week and keep it in the freezer 😋
@@JanusRasmussen on another note can you also kindly give us an insight of your live setup? I saw in some videos you use the octatrack, I just bought one and would love to know how you use and if you use it in the studio as well or is it just for live. Thank you and looking forward to tomorrow’s episode
Ableton 11 has this amazing new redux effect and a lot of new phaser/flanger, which can give you all the wobbling also. But again nice video! And a cheap priced Plugin for this is also "Sketch Cassette 2". It's amazing! 😇
Echo is such a nice stock effect! For the wobble, I find the stock LFO effect with some random jitter modifying the tuning of the operators slightly also works well :) (PS: the video description has some text from the last video, including timestamps.)
I love the Echo effect! I'm going to use it more often from now on. I'll remember to try out the jitter on the LFO as well, great idea 🙌 Thank you for the heads up with the description. It has been fixed :)
Janus huge thanks from me and my friends for making such compact and informative videos, I could make a lofi pad from Prophet but having this quick option is very handy when you are working on beats in a short time
ahahahah 3:40 “Let’s put on a beat and we’re just there...” - [track finished] Lol!! sounds dope actually. 🤙 are you using your own recorded samples for the beat?
I can't remember what I used for the beat, just some random samples from here and there. I actually really like this beat myself :P Thank you for finding my channel 🙌
Not skipping one of these videos, i0m learning a lot but if you could stick to ableton stock plugins would be great to then jump into other plugins :) Keep the good work!
@2:06 "You catch my drift" 😂
Cool, I loved the organic drums...
Glad you like them! I love making dusty hip hop beats :D
Istant chillout!
🙌🙌
beat was awesome
I work in Logic but want to start using Ableton. After your videos I want that even more

Yes, I saw that Ableton 11 has that. Super excited to try it! Thank you for the plugin suggestion! I love me some wobble :P

you legend
Great tip as always! Love your tutorials!
Nice groove! Please finish! 💃
Loving this series :)
Nice demo, I love stuff like Feverkin and Frameworks and would definitely listen if you decided to make a half tempo chill album!
Love the drums ! Are they ableton stock as well ?
I think most of them are from Splice, I'm really pleased with them. Don't know why I have the channels hid in the video, should've had the open

Great sound! How did you make this amazing drum loop?
Nice vid! FYI you have the timeline markers from your previous vid on this one. 😜
Thank you for watching! I've fixed timeline markers now :P
