I've been really enjoying the superman show. Everyone was raging over character designs, while completely ignoring the great story. Season 2 has been awesome, character driven and a fun storyline. I definitely need to check out the other shows.

yeah, since the early 90's cartoon to DC first venturing to anime in Batman Gotham Knight. DC is always quite good at it's animation industry and making nice choices.
It's weird because DC has ALWAYS made fantastic animated series, but for a good long while they just stopped making them in order to focus on more tiring and less fun Live-Action projects.
WW is kind of tricky to write for and because of it animated adaptations also get harder to make outside of one pretty good animated movie (there's a second one closer to present day but I feel like its not the best era of comics to adapt). Personally I think the fresh and experimental My Adventures with Superman approach could work, so long as they can make WW not so obvious and gimmicky and really streamline the idea down to its base elements and avoid making it a soapbox for social justice that people already know of.

Even the seemingly successful stuff tends to suffer from the executive greed and poor management. It's a miracle that we still get a fairly amount of straight to video animated movies from the company.
DC being on top of superhero animation isn’t anything particularly new, been this way since the 90s, even if they’ve made their bad cartoons overall they’ve been leading the charge. Also DC don’t have a japanese animation studio, they have WB japan as a branch but they commissioned Wit studio to make the anime who are owned by someone else
The funny this is this has been happening for longer than you'd think. A few years back there was a great cartoon called Justice League Action and WB/Cartoon Network shot it in the foot right out of the gate and didn't lift a finger to advertise it.

DC use various animation studios, like a lot of studios. Even in the 1990's, Batman: The Animated Series, it was done by various animation studios from outside the USA... Key frames I would imagine are created by US animators, but the inbetweening, etc. I believe are done outside the USA.
On the topic of the Suicide Squad, people never really say they are tired of all the hundreds of different kinds of Batman and Spider-Man content that we get every year. They only say that about characters they don’t really like or aren’t passionate about. The projects made for the Sucide Squad are easily dwarfed by the projects Batman receives. I think it’s fine if people don’t like them but I don’t think people should be upset that Harley Quinn and the Sucide Squad are more popular now as characters and a team, that are now getting more projects then they used too back in the day.

The thing is WBD doesn’t actually hate animation. Yes they canceled A Christmas special for Scoob that was going straight to streaming but Coyote vs ACME isn’t exactly canceled yet. They also announced tons of new animated (non DC) projects last month and have two 2D animated movies coming out this year. Also WBD was 55 billion in debt, so they had to sale things off, so selling something like Batman that’s not connected to the DCU is worth it, because if Amazon wants A season 2 they have to pay WB.

It sounds like you like this current strategy, and it works. Going forward, DC will be treated with a similar model to Star Wars: a constant stream of content for the brand for a variety of audiences. All those shows you listed are all DC characters, but they take a largely different approach to atmosphere and storytelling and are also, more importantly, not always connected.
