It shows a dramatic improvement in tensile strength of each fiber, and bundles of fibers. From 2015. Where can I get the engineering specifications for the prepreg? @AFPatEI
I have not read that paper, but will try and get a hold of it. Most of the prepregs we process are the aerospace standards (Toray 3900 or Hexcel M21) but we are always researching manufacturing methods for new materials!
@@MrFujinko This is textiles we are talking about. Carbon fibre textiles aren’t like aluminium alloy sheets, you can wear a shirt made of carbon fibre.
