Standing ovation for a legend from Missouri. Most of the students had to be 18-22yo before Nelly was in his prime. Its free, I'm going! Be a bigger crowd if he stays in the game by doing features like Jay-z. He is a OG now. Most kids only follow the trends(Wu, Jay,Biggie,Tupac,Snoop, Outkast,Kanye,Drake etc) not the culture. So many artists over 50yrs that made history. Salute to Nellyville from KC.

Acknowledging City's contribution because their voices and delivery of the songs are almost one voice. Synchronized. The St Lunatics' influence will always be part of all performances collectively or individually. We, Part country/Part HipHop fans love the crossover Nelly perfected years ago. Continued Success to Nelly -----and the St Lunatics in their endeavors.
I'm a current grad student at UF and knew nothing about Nelly's concert! I feel a certain way about this lol!!!!! My babies and I jam out to Hot in Herre all the time!
Good for him giving all that energy at a low turnout show. Not his fault, most of these kids werent born when he was in his prime. And he got paid either way...
Yeah, he came on Tour with Janet a couple weeks ago in Boston. I went to the Club Appearance he did at the Orpheum at ENcore Casino; the avg age there was early 30's and over (basically folks who could remember him at least from when they were in middle school).
Nelly is about to tour with Janet Jackson this summer. Nelly is booked consistently all year and gets a big bag each show. This was on the promoters for the event not a reflection of his career. He sold half his catalog for 50 million all the comments like he is struggling is just proof a generation is misinformed how the music business works.
That's the wrong market for Nelly 🤔 Nelly need to get his business together because he the type of artist that has classic music and will be lit 4ever!! He need to get with the right promoters and better management! He should be doing 50 cent type tours!! I have teenagers AND 2 in their early twenties that rock with Nelly, Luda, 50, Twista, Too Short, RUN DMC, DMX, etc....! They LOVE Gen X era of rap, hip hop and R & B. Mom did something right lol. Today's music..... again..... it's just noise! Some of it is ok, but that's all the credit I'm giving to today's generation of music and sound!
