We are expecting a really good fight between the two phone, eventhough Galaxy A55 is almost half of what Galaxy S24 price, the Galaxy A series are evolving- become really good cameraphone series too!

It may sound weird, but overall, I prefer the colorimetry of the A55 and also the exposure which is more natural, especially in video on the rear sensor, the Galaxy S24/S23 overexposes the background too much in photos, but especially in video with an overly HDR rendering .
The only thing that the Galaxy S has is often more detail in the image, and less focus and blurry issues (due to their better stabilization system).
Samsung should think about merging the good sides of each of these 2 ranges to have the best possible rendering.

Portrait mode, selfie camera, low-light, HDR, detail rendition and video performance on budget Samsung's is always inferior to their flagships.

I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. However I do think the S24 is consistent throughout most scenes as opposed to A55, which seems to struggle in certain lighting especially night time.
Overall, A55 seems to do well for half the price. 👌

I just bought samsung s21. It's worth than the latest midrange. The price is cheaper than the a35, a55. I get exynos 2100 instead of exynos 1380 or 1480. Also, have more features than the midrange
Its better but you lose the updates and batt life (considering its older). Hopefully, its cheaper! 👍
