- I once heard someone say that "you can never have too much flow in a reef aquarium" and that got me thinking, "Is that true?" In this video, I'll be explaining my understanding of that phrase in an easy to understand way.

Does Vortech have a patent on the inductive power transmission between what they call dry, and wet end?
As someone that has alot of torches and hammers there is such a thing as too much flow!!!
In an all sps tank but I feel your pain
Looking good Mike. Merry Xmas
Merry Christmas to you to pal 😁👍🏽
Rossmonts are bad boy pumps to be fair, I run 2x the 9800 with the waver alongside an MP40, and well pleased with them.. I've had to proper turn them all down though as it's only a D-D 900
They really are. I've run them for a week now on full blast and Polyp extension on the SPS is longer and because the spread is so wide that the LPS aren't getting hammered.
Recently purchased the Rossmont SX250 Skimer, RX1400 Riser, and a Waver (for a new build). Have you been happy with the build quality and reliability of these pumps?
Cool video! I have a 40 gallon reef tank that is 22 inches square. All I have going is the filter return going. What size wave maker do you recommend?
Happy Christmas mate have a good one 👌🏻
And to you 😁👍🏽
i have my wave makers pointed at the top and i think i have nice flow ,but some how not seem happy .my corals are bleaching , help arron
Bleaching might mean the lighting is too high
hold on, so are you saying that if you never want to clean your pumps and dont want to loose power buy these AC pumps? so are we saying the method of control they have between the two pumps is a simple on and off control? can you adjust the speed? if they are not speed controllable, then these are very basic and should be less than i dont see a market for them unless they are very competitively cheap
Have you tried jewel Rio 180 is it good
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas 😁👍🏽
bull, I have had a AC pump the reduced flow as it worked over a period of a week
does anyone know where I can get the gyre 350 flow director in UK as I broke my on accident, cheers!
Welcome back
😁👍🏽
Hope alls well bro, when can we get an update on that raja rampage😁.
Merry Christmas Bruv
Merry Christmas 😁👍🏽
Aquascape is absolute perfection.and love the overall minimalist approach you were originally after. Shame there’s no way to avoid this new ‘clutter’ with the added pumps.
With a clear back does it matter if the wire is in the tank as you’ll be able to see the wire behind anyway?
Can you see any wires now or pipes?
@@AaronsAquarium yes, coming out from the top of the wavermakers and over the top of the tank at the back
Never! I have two MP-40QDw on my red sea reefer 170
Do the fish mind the flow ?
YO where's the lighting video..
Nice tank, nice Channel...new sub👍🏻
Awesome!!! Welcome to the family 👍🏽
Nope? The more flow the better!
