Thank you again Taras for taking a subject and while not science dumming it down; added your wonderful analogies mixed in for us less academic folk! “ The heart, liver, of the system”. Looking forward to watching entire series!

Thanks for educating us. It helps us understand what we need to do to be better aquarists

Yes! Yes! I thought of the concept of interpreting the reef tank as complex as the human body systems during my time in medical school. Glad someone else shares this appreciation

You guys need to do a video guide on building a tank for acropora since you guys are the master .
No one has nicer acropora than you guys .
Question if you had to start new acropora tank would you start with dry or live rock ?

Its cool to tell people how important flow is, in such a grandiose way. Yes flow is important.. But what would be more helpful would be to walk people through how you determine your application of flow in a given reef tank. Why did you decide to put all those pumps in that tank, what do you look for, how do you determine placement of pumps, what's your thought process in designing the flow patterns in a tank. How do you determine what is too much or too little?

Noted! Will pass this on, and see how I can implement myself! Thanks for the comment.

I am currently trying to figure out flow for a mixed reef with mainly LPS. This has been tricky for me and would greatly appreciate any advice

Hoping we will get into the details like that in future videos! For now though, LPS is going to want flow but not a terrible amount like an SPS system, but each coral will want its own type of flow. What LPS exactly are you looking at?

Sometimes show biz is harder than it looks… 😂 we promise there’s a lot of flow in these systems! How else would we get such great SPS growth!
