I'm actually impressed to see so much effort put just into these moments, so many different outcomes in a COD game!
This game made me feel for the Germans. They had their own lives going, and to see them drinking, fighting, and dying was a little painful, especially the cutscenes. It makes me think about the people of the past, and how much suffering both sides endured.

Basically, yes. I'm pretty sure this is the ideal stance because laxing security or having bad attitude to friendlies are not optimal for an army in the middle of war.

Most of them were yes. I know it from my grandmother. They were strict but normally polite. They were very civilised in most of occupied territories. Mostly Wehrmacht (regular army) officers. SS officers were a littlebit worse. If you thought that every German soldier was just a murderer who ate somebody's child you were wrong :D

I'm actually impressed to see so much effort put just into these moments, so many different outcomes in a COD game!

This game made me feel for the Germans. They had their own lives going, and to see them drinking, fighting, and dying was a little painful, especially the cutscenes. It makes me think about the people of the past, and how much suffering both sides endured.

Same im one of those people who can view from one side and say yes this is wrong but i can see what lead to this and feel for the enemy. At the end of the day many were just men following orders. People seem to forgort that in nazi germany you either agreed or died and some people will rather save themselves than their neighbors.
