Dude....thank YOU. I was 🤏 close to returning my Razer Blackshark V2 after using it once..I could hear perfectly but my mic wouldnt work and it would work on Xbox, but not PC..I'm on my 3rd glass of wine after searching for 4 hours for the problem. Thank you.
Just in case anyone doesn’t know this. You might need a 3.5mm headphone splitter for some pcs. If you’re pc isn’t detecting a microphone with your headset it’s probably because your pc has to 3.5mm inputs one for headphones and one for mic. If this is the case for you go and buy the headphone splitter and you’ll be good to go.
The one port with the headset+mic icon used to work with earphones alone(one jack carried both mic input and sound input) till the day I used a headset that has separate jacks. Now when I plug in earphones I have to select whether it's mic or headset but not both simultaneously
Try: Control Panel > Sound > Recording (or whatever the name is so you can acces microfones) > And activate anything that has your mic, or doesnt in the description

@@camwhtly I found the solution from someone with 31 subs, a small channel, young guy but a legend. Try opening (Realtek Audio Console) in your search bar, go to your -headphones- advanced settings (would prolly be bottom left, that’s how it is on Windows 11), put it on -headset with microphone- instead of whatever it’s on. That should do it Man I struggled for days and like I said bought a headset splitter, tried everything for nothing. But this lil thingy worked. Hope you see this and it works for you. (Only responded with a big ass response cuz Ik it’s annoying and pretty much it’s impossible to find a good vid of a solution.

There's 2 more inputs called stereo mix and Headset mic which is actually an oculus virtual audio device, but when I tried using those 2 the sound bar doesn't move when I talk. It's very simple in most headphones it comes with the product. If not find a usb-3.5mm jack connector and then connect your 3.5mm wire to the 3.5mm jack in the headphone connector and connect it's usb end to a usb port in your PC and you're set! Lmk if it works
Did Windows 11 fix the headset headphone microphone problem that Windows 10 has? I gave up using a bluetooth headset (that have mic) for watching video and listen to music in stereo while being able to make calls in Google voice with Windows 10. A lot of online articles confirmed it is not possible. Hesitate to upgrade to 11 (and introduce other issues I don't need) just to try to fix the above problem.
