Christian J. Ward, professionally known as Hitmaka, is an American record producer and former rapper from Chicago, Illinois. Ward began his career as a rapper under the name Yung Berg, having released his debut album, Look What You Made Me, in 2007. Initially signed to DMX's Bloodline Records as Iceberg, he ultimately signed to Epic Records. In his later career, he has become better known as a high-profile record producer and executive in the music industry. In 2020, he was appointed as the vice president of A&R at Atlantic Records.
In this interview Marco starts asking how many hits has Hitmaka made. Marco tries to get clarity on his name and how Hitmaka rebranded himself, revealing Eve gave him his original name. Hitmaka reveals he wants to be a record label executive. Marco inquires about the hit-making process and how to stay relevant. Marco asks about putting people in the game and that process. Marco asks if Hitmaka has ever wanted to quit. Marco also asks if Hitmaka looks up to T-Pain. Hitmaka goes into an elaborate story that is exclusive. Hitmaka goes into a story about Nipsey Hussle and Rihanna. Hitmaka reveals he has never had a sandwich.

So far at 17mins in, this is the most normal interview i ever seen Marco do. Marco's respect and curiosity is on 100. He knows u can learn something from Berg. This dude came a long way.
