JEEP GLADIATOR BORLA ATAK EXHAUST

- This video is a short install and review of the Borla Atak muffler I intalled on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. I love the way it sounds! Its a little loud on the highway however that is probably due to me not being able to get to 8th gear very often because I'm running 4.10 gears and 38" tires. Overall I'm very pleased with how this turned out and it was pretty low budget. I paid a total of $497 for the whole project.

Just ordered the muffler you linked. I’m going to have the shop leave both resonators as well as run it all the way back. I’ll post a video when it’s done
Thanks for watching! That’s great to hear! Good luck with the install leaving both resonators should help with how loud it can get at higher RPM. Tag me once you post the video I’d love to hear it!
Thanks for this video! Been considering getting the exhaust done for my v6 challenger and jeep gladiator and love the brola atak sounf but not the price and now I know u can just buy their atak muffler I can have the best of both worlds good sound and cheeper price!
Oh yeah the vehicle specific kits are expensive! I took the chance on the muffler and it worked out great. Glad I could help. Thanks for watching and Subscribing!
WOW! That sounds mean!
It sure does!
If you have any questions ask away!
Drone?
@@oxidize99 as long as the exhaust ends passed the cab you shouldn’t experience any drone. I routed mine up and over the rear axle and ended it there and no drone.
@@BTHAlaska Nice. Thanks for the quick reply.
@@oxidize99 No problem at all anytime! I’m always down to help the Jeep community.
Thanks bud doing the same to mine except pipe all the way to the end of the bed
Thanks for watching!!! There are definitely times where I wish I would have ran it all the way back. It gets loud in the cab at times.
@@BTHAlaska lol not to late just take it to a random muffler shop bud should only be like 50 bucks
@@brian8978 Yeah I might just do that.
I wonder if I left the stock resonator on if it would quiet it down a bit. I really want that aggressive sound, but don't want all the decibals lol
I think it would. If I were to do it all over again that’s what I would do. I’d run the exhaust all the way to the rear as well.
Just remove the suitcase muffler and leave everything else. It sounds good and doesn’t sound obnoxious or drone you into a migraine.
If I were to change anything I would run the exhaust all the way back to the rear of the Jeep it gets a little loud in the cab at highway speeds.
You try towing yet? It sounds like a storm
I have the full double dual exhaust on my gladiator (only with 35s) and it's all the way back there but damn It's still loud as hell.
@@TheRandompaint Good to know! I’ve been thinking about having it ran all the way back but didn’t know how much that would help.
@@TheRandompaint Haha yeah I tow a boat and a snowmobile trailer pretty regularly. You’re right it sounds pretty aggressive.
Are these louder than black widow neighbor haters?
Sorry about not getting back to you sometimes RUclips doesn’t notify me of comments. I would say the black widow is louder for sure. This borla Atak muffler gives it just a slight rumble nothing crazy.
Just wondering, are you running a cold air intake as well? That would help your 0-60 and improve gas mileage a bit too!
Nope not yet I think I just need a bigger fuel tank. 😂 I might do a snorkel though I haven’t quite decided.
It actually wouldn't help at all.
