Congrats! Been following you and Tatiana for over a year now and it's honestly been life changing. I had a full time job and Tatiana's story is what kicked me in the ass to get going and I joined your mailing list and have never looked back. Good for you man, minimalism is where it's at. You get to really discover what exactly you value the most, ending up with only the things that really make you happy and the decluttering opens up new possibilities.

obviously :D but of course, you'd be stupid to have a load of cash and freedom and stay in an expensive place with not enough value for the $$$ you are laying down. a tax haven is definitely where you want to live making bank with an amazon biz with a hong kong corp or whatever

Dominik Lamade I'll have to renounce my US citizenship one day just so I can move to another country to avoid being DOUBLE TAXED!! I have 4 citizenships (Canadian being one of them) and my US one is the one I wish I never had... because now I be taxed to DEATH if I move to another country. Only America and one other tiny place on this planet will double tax you if you move to another country. Welcome to America's corrupt government who will tax you just because of your citizenship even if you never return to the US ever again, terrible.
If you’re a Canadian Citizen you still have to pay taxes from anywhere

Hey Stefan great move and no sense paying all that tax when you can legally change things for the better. A good friend of mine did that years ago and he now pays taxes in Malta and lives all over the world, with homes in 4 countries, including Canada. You've come a long way since that basement suite near my house and I'm proud of what you've done for yourself and others. Cheers! BTW I think that book you mentioned is called Emergency, not Survival.

We have much in common as I am in the process of getting my Italian Passport and Panamanian as well (I have been working on both for about a year now as well). Subscribed. You are living my dream at the moment. We had minus 3°C at night here in June in Nova Scotia. Days are ok between 8 and 19 °C. The only two months you can really enjoy are July and August if black flies, deer flies and mosquito let you. I am also really craving for a better climate. Luckily things are not so expensive like in BC. I can not complain about that although we are one of the highest taxed provinces. Cheers
