My prediction is that they are going to see how many people like the thumbnails like this without the AI, and at the end of the week, if people really like no ai, then maybe the change will go for the rest of the year and so on with no ai thumbnails. (Remember, this is just a prediction, and is not confirmed yet.)
Ncs, thank you SO much for ending the long war of the AI backgrounds/thumbnails. My idea is that every other song, you use AI so the AI people are happy, and you use classic backgrounds for every other song as well. Basically keeping everyone happy.
