I returned to riding last year. An accident in 2008 left me partially paralyzed with many permanent injuries. I had been riding since 1972. So not riding was like losing a limb. I live on a popular motorcycle road and had to watch them go by day after day year after year. So I finally snapped and bought a bike. At 68 I went with a slower versatile bike. A KLR650. It’s like getting my life back after not riding for so long. Only riders really understand. I’m
weather has been just terrible day after day for so long, starting to piss me right off lol. I'm more a fair weather rider these days, but seeing my brand new bike stuck in the shed with 1 mile on the clock after waiting so long to get it was too much, so had to take it out the other day in less than perfect conditions for a spin through the dales. roll on the sunshine, i love the NYM & will be there many times this year. GL
I have had a lot of success with Moldex Rocket earplugs (purple ones) work fine for me with intercom/music, but cuts out a lot of wind noise and are very affordable
I'm was the same with the foam ear plugs. Hated them as you can just feel the mechanics of the bike too much. Got some Alpine Motosafe ones and they are great. Can hear the intercom and vehicles around me but deaden the wind noise.
I sold my campervan and felt a little lost, started thinking about how I was going to keep going camping as I can't walk far due to health problems. Then I thought about going back to two wheels, started looking at bike videos and found the Himalayan. Got to say I'm still loving it almost a year later. Can't wait for the warm weather.
I did mine yesterday, to work. 2022 s1000rr. Got drenched but feels great.

Just luuuurve the colour of your bike!
As soon as I walked into the dealership I knew it was the colour for me.
