My general rule for passenger seats, is it should be just comfortable enough that a girlfriend would put up with it, but a wife never would...Lol!
But what if the wife wants to pull up on it?
You ride the touring bike with her...she doesn't touch the chop...
i love it even more bcs he got it from his brother its always nice when a bike has a story
Right?
Agreed
Me to my freakin shadow has been in 2 fires and was owned by a vet 😂
Very cool first effort!!! From an old guy, the reason you don’t see many green bikes is cause it is super bad luck!! But if you don’t know it maybe it isn’t? It’s just a real old Harley superstition!!!! Keep up the good work!!! You guys have really caught the old rigid look in a 600 Honda!!! Looks like you ride the hell out of them too!!!!!!!!
XX X Speaking of green bikes... I though green was unique too, and TWO days after painting the bike I dropped it for the first time hard after years of riding experience!
Bradley McCartney yeah it’s true! Nobody I know has a green Harley going all the way back to ‘67! Paint that thing black, you can’t go wrong. (It true for foreign bikes too)!
I rode a green Harley for years and even pissed off a harley guy who was riding a typical black and chrome Harley one time bc of it 😆
I laugh at the superstition, green bikes are just my weakness now. Can't wait to start building one this year and it will be green 🖕👌
My old Kawasaki 900 was green. Nothing ‘bad luck’ about that screamer ! She was a real Harley killer back in my youth !
And they call us natives supertious
Your very lucky to have a good brother who is not greedy for, money and give you bike
What a great looking bike !
I built one similar to this about 20 years ago & this vid makes me miss it big time.
I found this video while fantasizing about bobbing my shadow but I gotta say the brotherhood and love in this video is just fantastic, I love the McTwisty.
Love it! Lane split brother inspires me a lot! Love the crew love the bikes... love the community that you have.
Love this bike because it seems so attainable. It's not gonna win trophies at a show but it looks badass and has so much character.
Nice ride sir!
Love it!
BTW: old biker superstition- no green bikes.
Why? WW2 dispatch riders road army green bikes and snipers would shoot them knowing that they carried information. So you would find a dead soldier next to a green bike. So... no green bikes.
This superstition has faded since WW2, thank goodness.
Stay safe, keep your head on a swivel and the shiny side up!
Outstanding first effort. I love it! I also love that it has a story to it that connects you and Vu.
I have an '03 shadow given to me by my aunt when my stepfather passed and I haven't been able to get it titled and registered in california. I keep thinking about a custom build from it. I know my stepfather would approve.
Thank you guys I have already watched your videos 1000 times I wanted to build a bike like this but in Switzerland the laws are really pain in the ass .. I bought a harley since my inspiration thanks
Good Stuff....maybe you can call those pipes "twist and shout"!
Twist and shout, definitely. PEACE
I'd go with "Twisted Sister" exhaust, since only one is twisted.
Hi. Your Shadow Vt are to die for. Honda made them .... you made them elegant. drive fast and be careful. Good week.
Ur so blessed being a bike lover and living in place with wide long beautiful roads 👍💟💟💟
Badass, makes u feel good when u do it yourself and not buy it custom,y'all do great work keep it up
I'm so glad i stumbled upon this channel! The forest/british green in my eyes just POPS :D Very elegant!
Truly inspiring! Thank you for the vids and good luck out there. Been looking for my bike for months and hopefully my poor ass'll find it soon.
Man I just got a 2003 Honda shadow like that and I’m planning on doing a bobber style with ..glad I came across the video
tbh one of my favorite bikes ever just from this one video.
One of my favorite bikes you guys have done. Love the bikes that seem cobbled together over time.
Please do a detailed video about cutting the harness you’ll help so many people out
Yuppp. Was just about to ask that.
Well you did it right Man, beautiful ride, the essence of bobbing and chopping bikes.
One of the sickest bobbers ever! 🔥🔥💪🏾
Nice job dude, those little 600's are killer, bulletproof, dependable and cheap insurance....why not*****
It's nice to see guys your age doing some cool ass stuff ... Hand built ... you should be proud...
Beautiful Bike 👍👌😃 & good Video 👌👏👏👏👏😎🤘🤘🤘
Love that exhaust! Love the bars. Love the seat. Love the tail. Love it all accept the rear seat and sissy bar but that's just me
Great job V.
You inspire me to get my shit together and build me Bubber. I am 61
Its never too later.
I live in Monterey hope to see you on the road.
Beautiful mate. Truly enjoy the shadow builds and yours is bloody gorgeous.
Such a Beauty! Thank you and greetings from Germany
I'm a Harley Man but you guys have put together some nice bobbers from other bikes Nice
Keep it between the mustard and mayo and rubber side down GBU
That was cool of your brother to give you that bike. Nice build! :-)
Hell yeah Viet. Good job. Travis's bike is dope too.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! You did a great job customizing your Shadow! I own a big Harley but often dream of having a bobber. I would like to have a bike that is water cooled so Honda is looking pretty good. The reliability of the brand is nice too.
Brand new to motorcycles I bought a 2022 Grom. Must feel really good to build your own bike. I’ll try one day. Much love from SoCal. Stay safe.
After you sorted out the wiring and tidied all that up you will have one nice bike. Impressive.
Looks great!
I just started my first bobber built too from my 07 vulcan 1500 classic, I don't have a welder so things are pretty tricky but, its looking awesome so far.
I like how you implemented the rear seat, I've noticed hardly anyone has a year seat on their bobbers, I was looking for some ideas so thanks!
Another inspiring video. Looking forward to that wiring video too.
I actually hella dig that passenger seat. Chunky look with the Honda logo gives it a sporty retro vibe.
This is sweet. I have a few screenshoted, this is the new motivation
I like this bike, cause it’s got forward controls on it, i don’t think any of the other guys bikes have forwards. Nice video guys. 😎👍👍👍
Great job! Color looks great, too!
Excited for the wiring video 👍🏼
Sick build. Pretty cool the big bro hooked you up.
Nice bike I really like the pipes and the bobber looks awesome

Can't wait for that chopped wiring video. 👍 Been wanting to do that on my bike to get rid of all the mess under the tank lol
Wiring ain't no fun. I had to fix the wiring on my rear blinkers and the taillight. Took the better part of a day to sort out.
@@djay6651 dude I just finished that plus the front blinkers and took me over a week cus I gave up a few times lol. Really need that walkthrough for the rest haha
You should be proud, that is a very nice bike.
Very nice :D I'm looking forward Young's story
Awesome bros !!
Nice and clean
I like these oriental cats and the creativity they put into their bikes. They may not know this but way back in the seventies in San Francisco we used to hit up the Chinese bikers for parts and tips for our KZs. They were a solid bunch of guys. Wasn’t much foolish racism back then, everyone mostly got along. Love that pipe set.
it s a very cool bike,cool video
Great skills 💪
Thanks for the video
Nice work brother.
Great video, hello from South Dakota. PEACE
