For a long time I had only the demo version of OutRun on my Xbox 360, this was the only song possible and Ferrari F50 were the only car possible. Only race mode possible were the Outrun mode, but the time didn't increase when i got through checkpoints... :/ Then I made a found! I found a really good bargain! I found OutRun 2 game for original Xbox (i have original Xbox too) and it works on Xbox 360! It's price were only 2 euros in local recycling center which is really cheap! Normally Finnish GameStop asks from used Need For Speed game at least 15€... By OutRun 2 I could play more songs and drive different cars but this is still my favourite song and Ferrari F50 is my favourite car :D Most importantly i finally could make some progress in the game! :D
when i listen to songs like this, i just imagine a guy drive a convertible testarossa with his golden hair girlfriend in the passenger seat just cruising near the beach fking love it
I find it so rare to be playing a game and the music gets you moving. This game I will be playing until I die, now I just hope by the time I have enough money there will still be a Daytona, Sega GT and Sega Rally arcade box up for grabs.
Sweet! thanks for sharing this. I was playing Bayonetta this week and it played a song from Outrun in one of the levels which reminded me of this classic game. Finding this video was like a bonus.
I still dust off my old C64 from time to time, hit play on tape and get lost in the Out Run memories... Good times. Must've been over 20 years since i played it for the first time.
I found a copy of this game in a charity shop recently and bought it. I played the Mega Drive version a couple of times when I was a kid. I enjoyed this sequel. Especially this remix of Splash Wave.

You know, It’s a damn shame that we haven’t seen the OutRun series in 17 years and the state that the racing game genre is in at the minute. (Not in a good state in my opinion) One more OutRun game is what we probably need right now in my opinion.
two days ago i got a red ferrari sport shoe, is a mix of sonic the hedgehog and knuckles combination, it looks great!, to my mind become this theme when i saw for first time..
