This is probably unfair and I am sorry (Lol not really) but I have watched ALP over and over again. I love Shanggu,Bai Jue, Tianqi Zhihang Fengran, Yuemi and all the rest and the story so everytime I think of trying to watch that so called second part - The Last Immortal, I get angrier and angrier. I know alot of you won't agree with me and that is perfectly OK. BUT I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT! I hate everything about it especially what they did with Yuanqi . Dude you are the son on the chief goddess of chaos and the chief god period , Shanggu and the god of fire Bai Jue and were so headstong as a youngster, WHAT HAPPENED! And no tie in whatsoever to ALP. You couldn't even call his sword the Ancestral sword 🗡️ of his mother! Just some dumb thing divinity sword or whatever. Maybe someone out there can help me with this, is it normal in Chinese XianXia shows to have a sequel to something have NO TIE IN whatsoever? Please help. I really wish they would not have even done this. Its all wrong and I know alot of you like the lead actress but I can leave her cos I don't at all. I'm sorry I just can't, its SOOOOOOO BAD to me 😂
yes its normal. They never plan to make it as close as to its prequel.
