Without the effort, enthusiasm, cooperation, and spontaneous reactions of you guys, we would never be able to defeat the 3 times defending champion Bravo Company to win the National Education Competition of Specialist Cadet School! Exactly how the song described it.If you fear of losing your own life,then what about your family?The training is though,you lost everything,that is true.But after every hardship comes the reward and benfit of what you learned.
who knows?For those guys that got dumped,many girls might come after you since you went through army.Hardship=Tougher.Tougher=More responsibility(I guess?)

I feel very heart wrenched when I watch this video even though I'm not affected by this. I symphatise with every Singaporean guys who had to go through this. Mandatory military conscription should be abolished like most of the countries around the world. Learn from USA where military is a "want", not "forced into".
if it wasnt mandatory we will be fucked no one will serve. unlike the USA with 350 million citizens we don't have that luxury. So use your brain abit

hope that it's come out fine in the end, because, while the movies may seem like propaganda, it does help in at least showing your concerns? haha

I served to protect my own home, not anyone else's, not the FTs', not the gahmen's. But my home. ORD loh.
One can choose to complain about all the parts of his life that he dislikes and do nothing about them.
One can also choose to look at the inevitable parts of his life that he dislikes and turn them into something that is meaninful and useful, something that works in his favour and makes him a better person.
It's perfectly fine if you want to be the former. But next time please use "I am" instead of "We are" because you can never be certain that everyone views himself the way you do :)
