oops a couple viewers missed that :o IMO it was a good thing to see you get us a shot of it :) kinda tired of seeing just website pictures. so good of you to do a quick vid for us to see it. yeah the twist throttle is a great feature - try it as it will give you just enough to get along on the trails. [practice a bit & you will see how much better it is than the on n off switch] as for the loose stuff? a little practice & a little blue loctite helps. the seat post is just a thing you set to what feels best to you. snug enough to stay in the place that feels right for you. :) that ecells has some very helpful videos about those subjects.
Great review. I'm hoping if you get the extra rear battery installed, you will do some range tests. I wonder how much it will add to the range with the additional weight.
You should do some better throttle control.. Like another person mentioned.. That on off throttle snap is very loud. Turn your wrist with the throttle instead of just letting it go.
I feel like you're not tightening things enough (both the seat and quick release). I've already done 100 miles, and it hasn't moved a bit. If you watch the guy assembling the bike on Ecells channel, you can see he tightens the QR really firmly. My seat also came a little loose, but I tightened it really well, and it hasn't moved since. wondering if it is easy to replace twist throttle with thumb throttle. I don't like that snap and crack noise like you have in your video twisting and snapping back.
Don't snap the throttle like he seems to do.. I have never snapped the throttle like he is doing on my bike. I turn it.. Yes it's annoying. It's picking up on his microphone very loud.. very annoying

Spec for Spec They are both very close to each other, i tried getting a Wired to review but they wouldnt even give me a discount even if I bought it and promised to review. So for me the answer is easy...buy an Ecells. They are more transparent from what I've seen when it comes to customers.

I am pretty frustrated with my first ECells shopping experience. I purchased mine when the site was still showing a May delivery date. I've now been contacted and told it will not arrive until June and that the Gates Belt Drive that I ordered did not make it onto my order. I am considering canning the order entirely and going with another company that can hopefully hold up their end of the bargain.
Confirmation. ECells not only missed the mark on the bikes that was ordered with Gates Belt Drives, but they are no longer going to offer them at all. Personally, I am done with this company.

I asked if they will be adding them again in the future and the owner said no. So my April 14th order has now gone "poof" and I am missing out on the best riding time of the year.

It's the kickstand. That's why most mountain bikes don't have a kickstand. Noise and weight. I bungie cord mine to stop the clatter. I've been looking for years for a quite kickstand.

The owner is a liar and convicted felon who started e cells while on home confinement after serving 11 years in Jail. He sold mobile homes before. Too bad e cells copied an obsolete design . The new Wired drivetrain puts out 1000 more watts and has better acceleration, hill climb, and top speed. The thru axle is much safer than that those used on e cells. The owner is lying about paying sales tax and will wind up in Jail. California is using AI to match ip Credit Catds and sales tax returns so let’s see how long it lasts. They offered a gates drive but didn’t add the expensive transmission to make it work. Same gear at 2mph as 40mph. E cells lied and said they have supply chain issues😂😂😂 Something smells rotten at e smells. Stay away from people with low ethics, your reputation is your greatest asset,

Competition is a must and customers get the benefits of that in better deals and more for there money . The difference in e-bikes comes down to the quality of parts used , speed , power , and customer service. In round 1 between e-cells and wired i far preferred e-cells as the total cost was a huge difference , i mean HUGE . And i hate that wired forces you to buy shipping insurance to ensure you get a damage free e-bike . I hate that strategy . Just package your items you sell really well . (Example juiced bikes) super packaging . When i order anything i expect to get that item to my doorstep undamaged . If damage the company makes it good . Nearly every company does not have any silly charge of shipping insurance . On the other hand brakes are seriously important on a fast moving, heavy e-bike . To me 203mm rotors are a must and e-cells tried saving a few cents and put on a smaller rotor on the rear . 203mm front and back should always be done . When you miss match you make it obvious you are trying to shave off little here, little there . Makes you question what else did a company go cheaper on . The motors to me on both are to loud . Likely because of the metal sided gears . You realize the metal heats up much more then the nylon gear eventually messing up the nylon part . A good quality motor has high quality gears that are professionally positioned , along with proper amounts of high quality grease to prevent wear . Then overall lower that high level noise . Round 2 - goes to wired even though the much higher price when you include tax, shipping, shipping insurance . 203mm front and back , more power , 2 batteries . Through axel in front , dual suspension in the step through . E-cells needs to fix there wire placement that runs along the rear shock . 203mm in the rear . Through axel , front tire . Then i would lean back to e-cells as i prefer a torque sensor . Any ways you have to love competition . These 2 companies are setting the bar for the $2000 price point . Heck these e-bikes are a better deal then even a few $3k-4k e-bikes

It becomes a much heavier bike with rear battery so I will stick with one for now and see how far I can get with it

@@e-cells2222 could be the chain slapping the frame too. Recommend getting a chain guard that wraps around the frame. Save your paint as well.
