I have about 50 miles now, on my Lectric ONE. I really like this e-bike, but I have one major complaint. There is no proportional control to the motor! When using the throttle lever, or when pedaling, the motor control is either at 0% or 100%. In South Florida, on flat terrain, in PAS1, I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 9 mph. In PAS2 I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 15 mph. In PAS2, to drive the e-bike at 13 mph, I have to pedal, then coast, then pedal some more. I think the motor control algorithm could be improved, integrating the proportional motor power up and down, based on the pedal cadence, and the current speed.

I made a large investment in panniers, so I am interested in what standard other ebike rack employs. My Sondors Step uses a commonly available bicycle size, it has 27.5 & 3" tires. The Veloric Brand has been a favorite of mine since I started looking. The first bike, the green one, is the one I would buy.

Lectric "extra premium" lights still aren't good enough for night riding. We have seen the big ones mounted up high and with a daytime "halo" light built in, the only safe way. And what's with the no brake lights even on the 3.0? Lectric care about safety?. I have twin led lights on the handlebar. The little lectric light is so maybe they see me.

Yeah on my Xpress 750 high step. Mine has burned out. I'm going to see if lectric will replace it. If not I will use a handlebar light.

For most e-bikes ; Not enough powerful front lights, it recommended to have two of them, High and low beams . Someone has one party deadly accident because of that

Thanks for this review. I appreciate you figuring out around how many miles we can get on different pedal assists. I just ordered one but the X1 lite. It was about $800 with taxes and shipping on Amazon.

is the battery like the lectric?

If you’re not on the highway and averaging more gas miles than electric miles then I’m pretty confident that your foot is heavier on the acceleration. Try braking slower and not throttling so much and I guarantee you were average higher electric miles.

My batter is fully charge but when I press the on button it’s doesn’t comes up. What seem to be the problem? Electric

Why did you avoid the Gates Belt Drive??? Why the chain instead of the newly introduced belt drive??? Pros and Cons???

Nice bargain bike

Just bought one, haven't received it yet. What sold me was features like fenders, back rack and headlight/brakelight in the price range - not an easy find at the time of this writing. What's really burst my bubble in this video is what a mutt this thing will be for a 200 pounder like me on a number of long steep hills in my vicinity. Is the tester doing something wrong to achieve just 6 mph on a moderate grade? I'd appreciate any inputs, thanks.

I have thought about getting this bike. My plan for the rear rack would be to put a mettle trunk on it with a locking top. Paint it to match the bike and it would be like having a small pic-up bed with a landau top on it. It would need to be water proof and have a carpet liner so things do not rattle inside it. It could be mounted to the rack with the screws now present on the rack. How does that sound?

That’s very cool but I think it would confuse the people at least over by me. I’m in a big city and you know how it is with immature people… “oooo look at all the colors” but the turn signals are the most vibrant I’ve seen yet!!! Great video!

The bar end mirrors are good - except if your bike goes down on one, and it's tightly attached, it usually breaks. So, if you're trying them, buy 2.

I just got mine now should I get a front camera. I got a rear camera so I have 360 degree vision.

Great bike, and $899 right now! My favorite folder by far. Full suspension, great seat for rider comfort and a good 20mi range at 16 to 20mph. Battery is securely locked inside a metal frame. Large display, volt readout, fenders, rack, head/tail/brake lights...

I'm so glad I bought my e-bike from Lectric! They have great customer service as well. I lost a bolt holding my display to the handlebar clamp on my bike a couple of days ago and contacted them and immediately they shipped another one out for me. Great job Lectric!!
