He's a storyteller.
Peter Weir. What a director.
there will never be a movie like master and commander ever again and that is his last ever film.
@@markdaly1903 The Way Back from 2010 starring Ed Harris, Colin Farrell and Saoirse Ronan was the last one he directed.
What a talent Peter is. I hope he has a few more films to make.
He has retired - offically.
@@DAS1962 This is sad--many directors are doing their best work in their 70s. In my view, Clint Eastwood's masterpiece, Letters from Iwo Jima, was made when he was 75.
jeff bridges is one of my fave actors............ and star man is definitely one of my favorit top five movies...............
People being kind to each other, beautiful
Jeff Bridges is great
What I liked about this speech is how even though Jeff Bridges expresses how much he loved working with Weir, he didn’t sugarcoat it. I had never heard that story about the brief tension between them during the filming of the plane crash sequence. Leave it to the late Lloyd Bridges to offer his son some badly needed words of wisdom and then say, “You know what to do.” Movies aren’t always fun to make. Sometimes they’re just frustrating hard work. Patience gets lost, tempers flare up. I appreciate Weir then acknowledging in his own speech that he always expected that to happen, with every leading actor that he worked with.

?
Wow what a story 💜❤️
Jeff sei bellissimo!
I loved 'Fearless' so much, introduced me to Henryk Górecki's Symphony No. 3, a wonderful piece of art, check it out!
Same!
Damn you, a year or more before I could say the same thing.
After Fearless, I bought Sorrowful Songs and played them when lightning storms hit the coast of Sydney. While I watched the display, I played them at 11 in the flat that I had. There was never one complaint from anybody.
In fact, my immediate neighbour went and bought her own copy of the CD.
@@KickassUncle that's an awesome story, thank you for sharing!
The Dude abides…….
Where can we see the rest?

I wonder if Jeff smoked herb with Woody before the show started
Too many Brits in Hollywood tried to deny him because of Gallipoli
I think Jim Carrey should’ve given it to him
