The light bulb on the motor housing flickering would be a problem back at the customer's house in the fact that these openers have very cheap light bulb sockets and they will get partially melted and the metal will get dark and arcing and the metal needs to be scraped clean and bent upwards where the light bulb can make a good contact. This is a super common problem and easy to visually inspect just by shining a flashlight into the socket and you will see the flaws. Never seen a flickering light bulb caused by the circuit board. This is Kevin by the way who sends you plenty of logic boards and has been doing this for 28 years so I've seen it all. Cheers 🥂

Actually the problem was low output power, nothing to do with the bulb outlet socket.
A low power rail surges to pull up the rail voltage and causes false relay triggering. That makes the flickering. Never in the past ten years that I've been repairing these have I seen a socket cause a flickering light bulb, I've only seen a socket cause low light or no light. Corrosion on a socket acts as a giant resistor and can't physically cause a flicker.
Low rail voltage is what causes flickering due to low switching power, it can't latch!
