Continuing our Fireball mini-series, this time Karl and Andy review Fireball Wax Off. Have you used this product yourself and what results did you get. As always we welcome your feedback on the video so please join the conversation. If you have any top tips using Wax Off, drop them in the comments so others can benefit as well. Video edited by Jonny Sheill so we all hope you enjoy it. Cheers.
Great Video TCB! Fireball Canada here. We love seeing our products being tested in real life situations =). Fireball Wax Off being a water-based products, we do recommend trying to remove as much water as possible before application. Hand applied is perfect, but it can also be applied with a soft pad by machine. One or two application of Wax Off may be necessary to hit ceramic coatings, but most of them will show signs of wear after a single application. Wax Off can easily remove waxes, spray sealants and most entry level ceramic coatings. We also recommand Wax Off before PPF / Vinyl application when beading is still showing after the typical prep. Feel free to ask any questions 👇
Thanks buddy and really appreciate all the advice. Videos are great when brands take part and offer more information for the viewers. Enriches the video a lot. We are waiting for a selection of the Fireball coatings so watch out for the next review. Cheers again.
Kamikaze has a similar product that works about the same. Also, there are more brands in Korea that have similar products. I have products from The Class and Luminous that I'm testing. Pretty sure they have similar products.
Thanks for that guys. This is potentially a game changer. My rejection of using 1yr ceramics (IW synergy lite, etc) is the need to machine polish it off. Well, if it's been about a year, Wax-off would probably take the remnants off. Honestly, wow! Thank you for the work you've put in here. Now, just need someone to sell this here. Could you use it on glass?
Hiya buddy. Really appreciate you watching all our videos and taking the time to comment. Yes you could use it on glass. Fireball also say you can use it to clean dirty polishing pads. Forgot to put that in the video as well lol.
No signs of marring buddy when applied wet. We did do a test panel using it dry and again no marring. We previously used Kamikaze No.5 and it has to be said that is a great product as well.
Unfortunately I wasn't be able to watch live 😕 Many thanks to Andy and Karl braving the cold ❄️ Are their also abrasives working, or is it all up to the chemicals in this product ?
I am led to believe that this is not an abrasive product. I did read on a Facebook site that somebody did say it had fine abrasive so I am not ruling that out. I can recall a Fireball rep I talked to saying it was a chemical product not abrasive. I will do some digging and find out buddy. #fireballkorea can you answer.
@@thecarboutique2467 I think it has some abrasive in it, otherwise I'm not quite sure how it works. It doesn't smell or seem like it has potent solvents in it and I'm not sure what else would attack a coating like that.
I totally agree. Me and Karl are kicking ourselves as we did try it on dry paint but didn't video it. Definately more potent on dry it has to be said. I will do a RUclips 3min short showing the difference between wet and dry application. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Thanks for watching buddy. A few of the products did retain some hydrophobicity but without doubt they all took a hit. We are going to repeat the test on dry paint to see how much potent it is. I used to Kamikaze No.5 and that did a great job as well.
I love the Swissvax waxes. There is something special about applying a luxury wax from a wax producer with so much tradition. Yes you can find cheaper waxes that perform and in many cases out perform Swissvax, but that's not the point. You are buying into a luxury brand so if you enjoy the experience then great. Cheers.
Andy and Karl my name is is FUSSO SOFT 99 and I’m sad I didn’t get invited to this party for quality products. I always thought you two enjoyed my company.😭😭😭😭😭. I guess I’ll have to see if Specky McSporan needs a new friend 😂😂😂😂😂
Currently in Korea, various Sio2-containing water waxes are competing in the detailing market, and various wet paint cleaners are competing in the detailing market. Fireball stands out from the crowd and continues to improve every year through seminars and interaction with real users at their annual Open factory event. Your test results have been very interesting. Thanks for the great video.

I just ordered your Ghost wax due to the recent TCB video and I'm super excited to try it! Do you recommend doing multiple layers with it?

I think we all did a good job Jonny lol. Top work.

Love it. Would love to see the results of your testing buddy. Gives people choice what to buy.
This product works great for me and kills any normal sealant or wax / hybrid wax.
Great stuff buddy. Do you use it on wet or dry surface out of interest? Cheers.
@@thecarboutique2467 I've only used it wet so far.
Ok buddy. I am going to do a side by side and see what difference there is.

Great video, no doubt you’ve been asked several times, is there somewhere in the UK that sells Fireball Products.
Not yet buddy but Fireball are currently talking to UK distributors so hopefully soon. This brand needs to be sold in UK.
Looks good, any signs of marring? You say you've tried other products, Kamikaze No. 5? Gyeon Total?
No signs of marring buddy when applied wet. We did do a test panel using it dry and again no marring. We previously used Kamikaze No.5 and it has to be said that is a great product as well.

I will get the definitive answer from Fireball as its a question a lot of people are asking.
Looks to be a great product, but I would have liked to have seen it used on a dry panel to see how much it was "diluted" on the wet one 👌

I think the Gyeon Wet Coat held up well. I use Kamikaze shampoo to strip LSP.
Thanks for watching buddy. A few of the products did retain some hydrophobicity but without doubt they all took a hit. We are going to repeat the test on dry paint to see how much potent it is. I used to Kamikaze No.5 and that did a great job as well.
Good job chaps. Think I'm sold, this looks a really good product and, being i only use waxes and sealants, it's right up my street 😊. All the best.
Thanks buddy. If you want the product to be even more potent, consider using it on dry paint. All the best and cheers for watching the video.
Looks great this. Just treated myself to a tub of Swissvax Crystal rock. Only live once was my excuse 😂

How much does Wax Off cost ?
It's costs 25 USA dollars to give you a rough idea. Not sure in price when it comes to UK. Hope this helps.

That made me laugh. Were you the Soft 99 chap we talked to on your stand at Waxstock pray tell.
@ No I’m from the USA but I enjoy my U.K. brethren. Certainly happy to make you 2 gentleman laugh 👍
You will be invited to the next gig buddy lol.
@ Oh Sweet 🫡. Thank you Karl and Andy😔
Great test
Thank you buddy. Annoyed we didn't show the test on dry paint as the results would have been even more dramatic. Cheers for watching.
Ready
Cheers buddy. Hope you enjoy the video. If you can make the live chat, say hello.

Thank you. I did use Kamikaze No.5 for years and although it is a great product, I personally feel that Fireball Wax Off has the edge. Cheers.
i absolutely love this product. nothing more to be said. lol
Amen brother.
