Real talk though, I watched some of the best musicians I know (uni/conservatoire undergrads, 10-15 years trained) try and learn a new instrument from scratch and it took considerably longer than a week to even get a note out of some of them. These kids are clearly faking to a backing track /s

Persona 4 feels so much darker at times than P3 or P5.
P3 is definitely darker in tone, but it's so dark ALL THE TIME. It's like the game gives you nothing to drink but concentrated depresso.
P4, on the other hand, is like so fucking bright all the time, so when the game turns around and bitchslaps your soul, it hurts so much more. "Everyone is happy and having fun, look how quirky everything is! By the way, your little cousin tries to hide her pain from her loneliness in order to help her dad cope with his wife's death! ... Haha, Teddie, you are so quirky! ... Oh no, let's help this guy get over the death of his sister and also stop his suicidal ideation ... Haha, you run errands for a fox! It's almost like he understands you, LOL!"
The constant mood swings make P4 so incredible for me. I never saw the really hard-hitting stuff coming because the time you spend with a person can be wholesome or soul-crushing...

P3 really is like that overly bitter, stale coffee brewed with burnt coffee grounds
P4 is the caramel macchiato you drink only to find a dead roach at the bottom of the cup (All this time wondering what that bitter aftertaste was)

True. I guess Persona 5's somewhat similar? It doesn't swing quite as rapidly or as often...but when it gets dark, it gets _dark._ (shudders in sewer slide attempt and burger dad mental shutdown)

Can we really hate Teddie when it was our investigation team that raised him to be like that. He was just an innocent little bear out in the wilderness till he came across our shadows and moved in with Yosuke.
It was the shadows selves that made him like that though speifically started with Yukiko's then when he moved to Yosuke's place he saw his material to make him even hornier.

Mentally, teddie is a child. Why else do you think he values his connection with nanako so much? Teddie‘s personality is basically a result of him copying the first humans he met - and those happened to include yosuke and shadow yukiko. They are his idea of what a human is.

when I played that part with the band I got so mad when yukiko was able to play saxophone within like a week
Within a week the only thing she should be able to do is make everyone's ears bleed (trust me it's not easy)
It took me a straight week when I started trombone a few years ago to learn how to not play notes that sound flat or like they're coming from an exhaust pipe. Yukiko learning how to play the sax and an entire piece in a week honestly makes me envious.
