    2 minutes in and I love your presentation!!! The electrical pathway drawing is amazing and I’m gonna start drawing.. I’ve never seen it drawn out like that.. I want to get back into the field. It’s been 8 years.. Im missing EMS.

    I have this rhythm but it’s weird cause the first beat registered at 168bpm but the rest were under 100 so they listed it as aivr

    Hi a quick qn am confused if the rhythm is regular why did u multiply by 6 ? Shouldn’t it be 300/ 3 ( No . Of boxes btwn R-R )

    Why do we call it accelerated idioventricular instead of accelerated ventricular? The rate being over 40bpm makes it not idioventricular.

      Great question! This is a nomenclature that is standardly used. Described in 1910 by Thomas Lewis. We continue to use this. Thanks for your question and support. Happy New Year!

      I think idioventricular means it's coming from an ectopic ventricular foci
