OMG what a Flame Thrower edition - particularly loved the excellence of prose shown by Nathan! Why do folks have to cus and swear ---this does not improve the content. Thank you Real Talk, the emails are always entertaining, sometimes I like listening to them several times a week.

You are aware that Carney also consulted for Harper. To lump him in with Freeland is complete BS.

@RealTalkRJ sorry buddy it still doesn't make him have the same views as Freeland. Carney is seasoned non government administrator with stellar career, Freeland mmmmm no.

Carney likely didn't want to say that he would scrap the conaumer based carbon tax because it would sound like he's still defending the carbon tax just a different aspect of it. If you don't phrase it well it can sound like you aren't actually cutting the tax to people and just using double speak

@RH-ng9qm Pierre Poilievre is a career politician, who has a substantial political pension. Babbling platitudes, and giving three word slogans, isn't going to cut it. Pierre Poilievre can't control things that are a global issue, such as inflation.

@RealTalkRJ More than one issue. The Alberta Provincial Pension Plan, is one thing. Public healthcare is another. There are other issues too. Pierre Poilievre was in the CPC when people lost their life savings in the $35 billion income trust fund debacle.
Around 20 years ago, there was a federal election. Ralph Klein was talking about some 3rd Way healthcare reforms, which included private for profit healthcare options. Stephen Harper and the CPC were defeated to Paul Martin's Liberal Party. Peter MacKay said that Ralph Klein's mouth should be duct taped shut. Ralph Klein's party wasn't impressed with him and Ralph Klein had to step down after getting a 55% approval rating from the Alberta PCs. History has a way of repeating itself.
      Cheers! ✌🏻🇨🇦

Don’t want a NDP Liberal like Freeland. Not after how peaceful Canadian truckers and protesters were treated with thier bank accounts. Never. I’m kind of starting to like Nenshi though. He cares about the Education Assistants…so I’m getting a soft spot for him.

Go watch Stephen Harper laud Klaus Schwab while POllievre looks on. The conservative party is LITERALLY the party of the WEF. The ONLY party that has been criticizing the WEF for almost half a century is the NDP. Funny to read your comment about communism when your caring that much about the WEF CLEARLY makes you an NDP supporter.
Unless you are admitting you actually know squat about the WEF.

What exactly do you think a federal puppet of the WEF does? Well I'll tell you one thing that puppet does. When they go to the maritimes, they dont meet any of the growing number of farmers and businesses that sprang up during covid.
They go to the port and talk about the 'real jobs' that are so important to get more ships bringing chinese crap in.
THAT is what a WEF puppet would do, and thats LITERALLY what Pollievre did last year when he visited the maritimes.
So you might want to think twice on LISTENING to what career politicians say, and actually check their record, and find out what the WEF actually DOES.
