Hey Cactus 🌵 👋 This was a great overview! I really like the yurts 😊 It looks like a cool place. You captured some beautiful footage! Thanks as always for sharing 😊
My Goodness, thank you so much! This is eye, ear and soul candy,to me, watching your vids! I plan to share at least parts of this tomorrow with a young person I know! He's young, and wants to do some travelling, so I'm turning him on to YOUR channel! This goes in my playlist, fer sure! You do such a fantastic job with all aspects of your videos! You have an artist's eye and spirit! Carry On!
Hi Glenn, another beautiful video. Thanks for the yurt tour. I need to take a look at the local factory here that manufacture the yurts. Very cool to see. The Goblins were beautiful beyond belief. You might like to take an inexpensive small stool that folds up for the shower room. I am being educated with your videos. Thanks again. I'll be back.Thank you Amy for all your hard work.
No, thank you for the awesome comments! That’s neat that you got to see how those are manufactured. And great suggestion for the shower stool. I have run into other situations where that would be handy!
WOW! Another great video. Really appreciate all the work you put into your videos. The tour of the campground was nice especially since tent camping is for us - except for the dust, we might sleep in the van. Thanks again for the armchair travels as we plan our winter getaway. 🇨🇦 Noticed the bedtime reading book…a little heavy for bedtime we think!
Loved this as usual. Just had to share this bc I think it will make you laugh. My boyfriend and I were getting on RUclips and I asked if he wanted to watch the new video from Cactus Assless. My mouth and brain don't coordinate sometimes...lol I was rofl when I realized what I said!
We are outdoor people. Just discovered your channel and loving it! We’ve been to many of the places you have visited over the years. Now our adult kids and their babies are beginning to these adventures! We stayed in yurts 🛖 over the years at Craig Lake State Park. Loved it!
Well, welcome to our channel! Yurts are pretty fun, aren't they? We've always wanted to stay in one and film the experience and finally got the opportunity on this trip. 😊
Here's a big hello from a new subscriber, I stumbled across your channel and can't stop watching! Your videos are so full of info I'm looking at each one at least twice. Couldn't help but notice the book on Olive Oatman on the chair next to the bed in the yurt. That woman was a true survivor. Loved the yurt! Thanks for taking me along on your trips.
Hi, hello, and welcome! 👋🏻 Thank you so much! We're hoping one of these days to get around to covering the story of the Oatmans. Truly fascinating story. 👍
Nice info. Been eyeballing those yurts for a few years. Yurt 1 or campsite 12. PS - You can rappel down from the top into Goblin's Lair. Haven't done it yet. One of these days.
The yurts are terrific. I remember your yurt experience that was near Zion and we always thought it would be fun to splurge for an experience in one. Repelling isn't something either one of us has experience with but wouldn't mind trying one day. Thanks for the info!
It has been a minute, so thanks for revisiting Goblin Valley, very stunning! However, when you rely on LOTR to guide your use of the English language...maybe not 😂
Is definitely a spectacular area. Unfortunately, camper etiquette seems hard to come...noise in these outdoor areas is annoying...when peace and quiet is what most is there for. Very neat yurt. There are many popping up all over the place it seems. Will need to check one out for Otis and I. Hope you have a great weekend. Bruce and Otis
Thank you! The noise factor at Goblin Valley's campground is especially difficult because of the way sound bounces around. Talking is one thing to hear amplified, but some other things...? 😂
I bought this kit on Amazon that is a set of refillable bottles, each wirh a hole molded in the end. It came with a lanyard. You can just throw it around your neck, and everything is right at hand. I bought this kit for the gym.
@@CactusAtlas Four days in New York and then a four weeks roundtrip with the family. LA - Palm Springs - Joshua Tree NP - Calico - Oatman - Kingman - Seligman - Williams - Grand Canyon (by The Train) - Lees Ferry - Horse Shoe Bend - Antelope Canyon - Monument Valley - Four Corners Monument - Mesa Verde NP - Dead Horse Point SP - Canyonlands - Arches NP - Bryce Canyon - Cathedral Gorge SP - Crystal Spring - Las Vegas - Death Valley - Mammoth Lakes - Bodie - Yosemite NP - SF - Muir Woods - Monterey (whale watching) - Big Sur - Morro Bay - Carrizo Plain NM - Santa Barbara - LA - and back to Germany. And so much that it had to be skipped due to time constraints. But it made me want more.
The three sisters was pretty wild 😀👍
Yeah, the rock structures out there are so very unique and really set the imagination running. 😄
After seeing all that dust you collected in the tent- that yurt looks great!! I’ve got to stay in one soon!! Thanks for the tour!
Any time! Yeah, the yurt certainly allows for a dust free experience compared to a tent. 😅 It's really a pretty fun experience.
32:50...What an honest frank comment...It's refreshing to know someone that doesn't need to play the hero all the time. Very Enjoyable trip!😊
Thank you! Sometimes things are just too much. Not worth getting into predicaments. 👍
Thanks for another nice presentation.
Thanks for watching! 😊
Way cool hike. Being i have walking issues i may watch your videos. Thanks for sharing ☆♡☆
Please do! Very happy to help! 😄
Hi. Love this channel n thanks for taking me along. As for that funny long rock, how about nosy rock?
I like it! Great suggestion! 👍
Your guys are inspirational.

😂 Indeed it is. Gotta research in whatever time one can carve out though. 😅

🤣🤣🤣 I am kicking myself for not coming up with that first. That is HILARIOUS. 😂 Thanks for sharing that.

Just wanted to say thank you. Your channel helped me a lot to plan my holidays last year. Thanks!
No, thank YOU! We are so so appreciative as well as humbled that we helped in any way. 🙌Where did your holiday take you last year? 😊

WOOOOOW. That's a whole lot of places in one trip! All very great choices! I imagine that was the trip of a lifetime! 👍
@@CactusAtlas Perhaps the last trip with the kids. Growing up too fast. 🙂
Part of the movie Galaxy Quest was filmed in goblin valley.
I have one question. Can you book a Yurt on line.? That was a good review of Goblin Valley.
Yup! You sure can. 👍

Pocket Money!
Oh my gosh, thank you so incredibly much. Words cannot convey how much we appreciate your support. 😊
We had the wind blowing through the night when it was too hit to be buried in a sleeping bag...git buried in sand instead!
Something about that place. One of the dirtiest and dustiest places. But SO worth it! 😄
You’ll e in Phoenix. You’ve already had Valley Fever.
Hmmm... Wouldn't recommend Valley Fever to anyone. Have a family member who had a very, very serious case.
Can you camp in the Goblin's Lair?
Don't have a definitive answer but I'm fairly sure that wouldn't be allowed by the park.
@@CactusAtlas I didn't figure you could. But it would be really cool!
