After seeing all that dust you collected in the tent- that yurt looks great!! I’ve got to stay in one soon!! Thanks for the tour!

Any time! Yeah, the yurt certainly allows for a dust free experience compared to a tent. 😅 It's really a pretty fun experience.

Hi Glenn, another beautiful video. Thanks for the yurt tour. I need to take a look at the local factory here that manufacture the yurts. Very cool to see. The Goblins were beautiful beyond belief. You might like to take an inexpensive small stool that folds up for the shower room. I am being educated with your videos. Thanks again. I'll be back.Thank you Amy for all your hard work.

No, thank you for the awesome comments! That’s neat that you got to see how those are manufactured. And great suggestion for the shower stool. I have run into other situations where that would be handy!

    WOW! Another great video.
Really appreciate all the work you put into your videos.
The tour of the campground was nice especially since tent camping is for us - except for the dust, we might sleep in the van.
Thanks again for the armchair travels as we plan our winter getaway. 🇨🇦
Noticed the bedtime reading book…a little heavy for bedtime we think!

Here's a big hello from a new subscriber, I stumbled across your channel and can't stop watching! Your videos are so full of info I'm looking at each one at least twice. Couldn't help but notice the book on Olive Oatman on the chair next to the bed in the yurt. That woman was a true survivor. Loved the yurt! Thanks for taking me along on your trips.

Hi, hello, and welcome! 👋🏻 Thank you so much! We're hoping one of these days to get around to covering the story of the Oatmans. Truly fascinating story. 👍

Nice info. Been eyeballing those yurts for a few years. Yurt 1 or campsite 12. PS - You can rappel down from the top into Goblin's Lair. Haven't done it yet. One of these days.

The yurts are terrific. I remember your yurt experience that was near Zion and we always thought it would be fun to splurge for an experience in one. Repelling isn't something either one of us has experience with but wouldn't mind trying one day. Thanks for the info!

It has been a minute, so thanks for revisiting Goblin Valley, very stunning! However, when you rely on LOTR to guide your use of the English language...maybe not 😂

  • @wendingourway

Is definitely a spectacular area. Unfortunately, camper etiquette seems hard to come...noise in these outdoor areas is annoying...when peace and quiet is what most is there for. Very neat yurt. There are many popping up all over the place it seems. Will need to check one out for Otis and I. Hope you have a great weekend. Bruce and Otis

    • @CactusAtlas
      @CactusAtlas  Год назад +1

Thank you! The noise factor at Goblin Valley's campground is especially difficult because of the way sound bounces around. Talking is one thing to hear amplified, but some other things...? 😂

I bought this kit on Amazon that is a set of refillable bottles, each wirh a hole molded in the end. It came with a lanyard. You can just throw it around your neck, and everything is right at hand. I bought this kit for the gym.

@@CactusAtlas Four days in New York and then a four weeks roundtrip with the family. LA - Palm Springs - Joshua Tree NP - Calico - Oatman - Kingman - Seligman - Williams - Grand Canyon (by The Train) - Lees Ferry - Horse Shoe Bend - Antelope Canyon - Monument Valley - Four Corners Monument - Mesa Verde NP - Dead Horse Point SP - Canyonlands - Arches NP - Bryce Canyon - Cathedral Gorge SP - Crystal Spring - Las Vegas - Death Valley - Mammoth Lakes - Bodie - Yosemite NP - SF - Muir Woods - Monterey (whale watching) - Big Sur - Morro Bay - Carrizo Plain NM - Santa Barbara - LA - and back to Germany.
