While exploring the streets there was a sign on the floor giving loads of information about the oldest roof in Chepstow. So, me being me had a look and the door was wide open and I went inside. While inside at the back was another door which was open so I explored that as well. What a foolish mistake lol.

I'm not sure if he worked there or anything but he could of been a little more less angry lol. I loved Chepstow, everyone else i spoke to were awesome and some of the streets and little lanes were pretty cool. I am all about peace. The guy was a little agressive and if he got in my face it would of been a different story. I've read some reviews on the place and everyone says the staff are amazing and the pictures of the owners are different from this guy. He needs to chill out, I honestly didn't know it was private because the doors were wide open. Lol
@@Spudboys people are strange sometimes 😂 now usk is a nice place and Newport bus go straight to the market square and across the road there is a disused railway line that crosses a bridge over the river usk at Abergavenny road. I hope to walk it when my feet get better.
I'm originally from Chepstow. And that video was funny AF....... Just for having a piss hahaha. It's private residence but tbh it should be listed or advertised outside to inform tourists hahahaha. I'm still chuckling now and rewound to show my partner and kids hahsha

Well, I cut the camera off where I did because I thought the situation was going to escalate haha. There was more, some woman piped up and called me a cheeky bastard then some not so nice words were exchanged lol. I had a massive shot where I went into the building but because I had to hide the guys face I accidenty deleted it. The place was advertised as a bar but I think it was a hostal. I'm not going to name and shame because the hostal looks really good and run by nice people. I really don't think he worked there but he could of been a little less aggressive. I know a hand full of people who would knocked him out. I'm all about peace and love:)

I like us being with you on the full journey and I think you should end stepping on the bus back. So we know you are getting back. And maybe a summary once you're home on your thoughts. Was it worth it etc. I'm tempted to go there now though with the Mrs. That Fish n chips looked worth it alone. Now I've seen you do it. I am definitely planning a trip to see how far I can get on a network rider. I think that would be alot of fun. You want longer vlogs Mr Farr??? Haha I could make them longer especially the special adventures ones. I got some really big plans but just need the funds, I'm saving for something special. Thank you for the comment and the support. @@Spudboys Don't listen to me dude what you're doing is about right for the average vlog. Plus There weren't loads there. It's good idea those network riders though cos for the money, it cost similar for a return to Cardiff or there abouts. So the fact you can hop on any bus and go to all these different areas is cool. Be warned though there are a lot of strikes happening now so don't get stuck. Although that might be entertaining to watch 😅.

And it's encouraged me to actually try it. I knew about it never used it. Pre pandemic there was a free bus which went from Cardiff all the way up to Aberystwyth etc the only catch was they could hundred percent garauntee you a spot on the lift back. You more than likely will but they couldn't absolutely promise it But it was totally free turn up n take a chance kind of thing. Might be worth a look for more adventures if it does still run. At least you don't have to spend loads on traveling. Yeah job going well thanks. Been a month now Working nights. It's kind of cool at the mo loads of bands playing the castle all week so I sit on a bench before my shift and listen to live music. Just a bugger sleeping in the day with the heat. So far so good though. Wonder where you'll end up next lol. Maybe roll a dice for the number of stops loll
Ive literally lived there all my life....not a SINGLE person you spoke to is a genuine local...they all moved over when the bridge tolls were removed. Since then, the town has changed, and no one's friendly... and no community spirit.....and they're all rude no one knows anyone....it's fucked.
I thought some people I spoke to were pretty friendly, the guy who shouted at me was very kind lol. That's a shame mate, I had a good experiance in Chepstow, such a cool little town, could of been better but it is what it is lol. Thanks for the comment mate
@Spudboys it used to be a lovely place mate. Really nice. Now its just a ghost town full of unfriendly people, sadly. You should try a trip mid summer...it livens up then. They have concerts inside the castle etc too. I had a flat in bottom of town on the river when i was younger....used to kerp my car in castle car park. One morning i woke up late.....rushed to the car! Got to car park, n the car park was blocked off, with massive security guards. There was music, food trucks n mobile homes everywhere. Turns out they were filming scenes for "relic hunter" under the castle......and my car was stuck right in tbe middle of it all haha.

Hey mate. I wandered in there by mistake. All the doors were wide open and I thought it was a hotel or something. Turns out it was a backpacking hostel called the greenman. The guy just lost his mind. Not sure if he worked there but he could of been a little more friendly. The door under was the oldest like pillers in Chepstow or something
