I was 10 years old when Jordan came into the league and I was a huge Lakers fan. The only thing that people really criticized him about in the earlier years was that his game was too selfish and he didn’t get enough players involved in the offense and that type of basketball will never win in the NBA. Then he broke my heart when he beat Magic Johnson and the Lakers in 1991 and from then on, no one could say anything. He was so strong and his hands were so large and he could jump so high and he was so fast that nothing could stop him. You always knew he would win in the end and everyone knew it.

If you think about it, all this EXTREME back and forth GOAT debate NEVER was this bad in the History of the NBA. Some people had Magic as the GOAT, some had Bird the GOAT, some had Jabbar, some had Wilt and some had Russel. And it was NEVER this delusional or as one sided as possible if you REALLY know basketball. It’s the Bronsexuals and the LeMedia trying to force the narrative

Jordan said in an interview that people say he has no weaknesses in his game, but that's not true. Jordan also said he's been working on turning those weaknesses into strengths. and for the most part, he did it actually. The reason Jordan is the GOAT is not because he didn't have weaknesses in his game, but because he was the player with the fewest weaknesses in the end.
A lot of LeBron fanboys talk about Jordan's weaknesses, but they don't realize that it's LeBron who has the most weaknesses.

I was in Chicago at a flea market right after the Chicago bulls won their first NBA championship. I was very young I'd say between 9 and 11. Anyways right at the entrance of the flea market me and my brothers where interested into some ninja turtles toys that we saw and we heard our mom call us and I turned around and completely ignored her cause right from a distance I can see him. The 6 foot 6 or 6'4 whatever, anyways it was Michael Jordan, right there in front of me standing there wearing a red tank MJ shirt and black shorts with his trademark Jordan's. I couldn't believe it, I just ran straight up to him to give him a hug like a angry child and told my brothers hey it's him it's Michael Jordan and I asked just to be sure, I go you are Michael Jordan right? And he yes I'm mike, and my brothers ran up to him and a bunch of other kids. He was with 2 kids and his wife. I'll never forget that experience. I have always question myself why in the world would Michael Jordan be doing in a flea market. The only thing I can think of is he was sight seeing and just by coincidence got there but yeah I felt bad because he was minding his own business and I kinda blew his cover, and it wasn't long before he left. Poor guy barely made it in the entrance and got mugged by bunch of kids. A day I'll never forget.

I hate it when a guy doesn't finish the quote and Sean David is notorious for not finishing a great quote from Michael jordan. What he said about shooting threes is you don't go to the hole as much you go to the three-point line and you wait for people to get you the ball. That last part about waiting for someone to get him the ball is the most crucial part of that highlight. What he's saying is that he doesn't want to become stagnant on offense and just stand as a spot up shooter...
By the way I don't want this to come off as a shot at Sean David because I love his content and he seems like a very nice friendly guy with a positive attitude... It's just that it aggravates me when I'm waiting for him to finish the quote but it cuts to the next part...

Thank you for addressing the 'no left' thing.
There are tons of plays which show Jordan using his left hand... but that's not my point.
The point is, Jordan had a SUPERHUMAN right hand!
LeBron James would SELL HIS SOUL for a right hand like MJs.
Everyone has a dominant hand -- please tell me who would NOT utilize the absolute WEAPON of a God-given GIFT as Michael Jeffrey Jordan's right hand?
Who would NOT take advantage of the incredible bionic CLAMP of a right hand that MJ had?
    With everything that Jordan accomplished:
College accolades, two Olympic gold medals, 6 championships, 10 scoring titles, DPOY, a single season with 3000+ points, 200+steals, and 100+ blocks... I could go on all day with the accomplishments, advanced metrics, etc., which prove Jordan's greatness, but to save time, I will just say this:
We all know the incredibly successful career MJ had, so WHY do we care which hand he did it with??

Why I really don’t value these guys opinion is they only saw Jordan from 96-98. Jordan from 88-93 is a whole new thing. Jordan obviously wasn’t a defensive player of year candidate in his 2nd threepeat. They see the 88 dpoy and think that MJ they saw was going to live up to that which distorts their opinion. In regards to the "Jordan cant go left": Gervin said much the same thing. When Mike was young - one or two years in he had a flaw in his game that his left was notably weaker than his right. A year or two later and he'd put in the work and that weakness had mostly disappeared. I've forgotten who said "Mike had a Hall of Fame right and an All Star left" when talking about the Jordan rules of the Bad Boys Pistons.

People often argue that even when their "idols" aren't scoring, they contribute in other ways such as distributing the ball, rebounding, and playing defense. However, they tend to overlook missed shots, botched free throws, and turnovers, which is amusing. People like to raise the "all-around play" in basketball. Game Score takes all of these contributions into account.
LeBron James has been outperformed by an opposing player or a teammate in playoff and final series 14 times. He has produced a Game Score lower than Michael Jordan's 18.5 on four occasions and has had a role-player production score lower than 15 twice.
In contrast, Michael Jordan has only been outperformed in a playoff series by a teammate once and by an opposing player once. His Game Score dipped below 20.0 only once, with 18.5 being the lowest of his entire career. Jordan is the only player in NBA history who has this record.
Claiming the GOAT title is a stretch when a player is outplayed by their competition and teammates in the same playoff series, especially if those players are not even in the GOAT conversation. Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Davis are not considered for the GOAT title, yet they have outplayed LeBron in the playoffs and finals.

In 2011, not only did Wade and Nowitzki have higher Game Scores in the Finals than LeBron, but Jason Terry damn near did too, lol. He had a 13.4 GmSc to LeBron's 13.7
The 18.5 Jordan had was bested by Kemp with an 18.9 in the 96 Finals
      Playoffs aside...
Jordan STILL has the highest single Game Score of all time at 64.6
      He's had 17 games higher than 45.
      LeBron has had 4.

There’s a reason why he’s a defensive player of the year (which Labron will never have),and 6 MVP trophies (which Labron will never have), that’s why he’s that great (which why he’s the GOAT). That’s why he’s an all around player because he’s that good in all aspects of the game of basketball, defense and offense 👍!!! Jordan has NO weaknesses!!!

Think about it, was one of the first stretch fours, could shoot deeper than Duncan and better than KG overall. Was coached by Dean Smith, despite all the chemicals had high IQ (with the crazy exception of doubling off Manu in the 2005 Finals 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️). We should be talking about, in a separate video of course, about one of the greatest power forwards ever. Just too much weed and a volatile temper! I only see some people talking about Jordan badly, but I don't see Jordan respond to them. And I realize his game speaks for itself. It seems that he doesn't have to brag about himself. Anything someone told Jordan of his weakness will be his strength. That is what makes Jordan great. That is why he won those 6 rings. He saw his weakness was to win those rings, and he worked at it to win as many rings as he could.

Its so sad that bron fans cant see that the debunking of jordan is a push to make everyone before bron seem trash. This isnt just against Jordan if you’re going to say the goat of basketball is trash than everyone else around him is too which is why when the 90s movement didn’t work they came after jordan. They don’t care if you point out the fact that the merit of this new article was to get people talking about the league messing with legacy when they made the title about bron chasing a ghost. They don’t see the irony of a league handing the reigns to a 3rd year player when their favorite player hadn’t played a second before he was deemed the chosen one and the next mj. The way assists are scored now are bs but we don’t talk about that enough. They also just changed certain plays from a steal to a block this season and everyone acts like these stats haven’t been scored differently in many eras.

Competitiveness. That’s how Michael became the Greatest Of All Time. I’ve seen MANY videos of the debate from both the Michael side of the coin and LeBron’s side. It comes down to competitiveness. I’ve NEVER seen Michael give up on a play. The man created scenarios in his head that they were losing and the game was almost over, EVEN when they were up by 20. Everything he did was in furtherance of getting better. He challenged himself every single game to outdo a previous game. It’s a miracle the man didn’t fold under the pressure that HE HIMSELF put on his shoulders. Scottie Pippen will always be my favorite Bull, but there is no doubt that Michael was the greatest athlete to lace up a pair of basketball shoes.

I get the argument about going left, at least statistically, but they're missing the context. He's 'incredible' going right but only 'excellent' going left, so you take your chances with him going left. The lesser of two evils if you're defending him. But isn't that the consensus against guarding all right-handed players? Force them left; you have a better chance. Kind of insulting to an entire generation who tried to guard him. "Oh, I just had to force him left, and the game would have been ours."

Older players are coming out of the woodwork (and yes i think a number of them are being paid to do so) and unleashing their feelings for MJ that they’ve been sitting on for all these years. They couldn’t beat him, so they all grew to hate him. The hatred for LeBron is for very different reasons. So, it’s not the same thing.

MJ really had no weaknesses really. His handle wasnt great in college so he worked on that. He was a bad 3 pt shooter coming into the league & he became a decent shooter toward the middle of his prime.
Hes clearly the best defender vs kobe & lebron. Mike's def stats are way better & his opponents were always scared he'd block them from behind or steal in the passing lanes.
Kobe had the best handle & stroke & probably edges MJ in footwork. But Mike is pretty much better at everything else. Mid range is really close between the 2 but mike was a 52% fg if you count only Chicago. Kobe is a 45% shooter basically.
Lebron is solid all around except FTs & maybe turnovers. Hes the most versatile defender cuz of his size & strength & is probably the best passer but Air was a great passer at PG & Kobe is an underrated passer.
But Mike is the best of the 3 then objectively its Lebron (better efficiency over 20 yrs) then Kobe. But Kobe didn't whine like LBJ. GOATS dont complain. They get back on D.

And in that clip he continues with he doesn't want to stay around the 3p line, doing nothing and just waiting for the ball. What is the new nba now? Exactly this for the most part, they know just 1 or 2 things. I think the so called greats of the last 10-15 years should be in a lower category, maybe except Steph, KD, Kyrie, Kawhi and some others. Everyone else is just a role player, including the leflop, he always needs help cause he can't make even a play by himself. And the thing is if MJ or Bird or Barkley or any of the real greats would play now they would have be on par with the best shooters of this age just because they would work to improve their game, exactly like they actually did in their time. Those guys had the same talent like the new guys(as in jumping over buildings and such) but they also had what i'd say it is the diff between a prospect and a top professional player: will to win and work ethic.Look at those i named before, except Steph none of them managed to stay in one place and win 3 times, no matter the time frame. So what u do when the paper says it all, black on white, that your guy is less? You go and try to burn the paper, disregard it or invent a new paper with some bogus s...t. They don't realize that the diff between MJ and any other top player from the last 10 years it's what 2 or 3 players of this era combined couldn't make lol: rings, mvps, finals mvp, scoring titles, dpoy and so on.

  • @alexlanza79

    It's really a complete joke!
Now they are talking about inflated stats to make MJ look good back in the days, weird they never talk about the hundreds of pass by LeBron and subsequent 2 or 3 dribbles and a change in position of his teammates and those are counted as assists for LeBron if they would do that with MJ he would have 8 assist per game as well or the bunch of defensive rebounds under the rim with no opponents and 4 teammates around and none of them even attempts to take it so LeBron statsheet can be filled up real nice, but that's not inflated stats right?
Of course they don't even analyze any of that 'cause it will expose that LeBron's career is fabricated over stats!
The huge problem I see is that for too many people lately saying all those things about MJ means being an "NBA historian" but saying that about LeBron is being a hater, double standards at it's finest that's what it is if you ask me!
