I agree but to get this oil painting look that your talking about is that your also going to need a 4090 and a good cpu to back it up for and that amount of money is out of reach for many like myself now that i don't work because of health issues and now the new 5090 and all the next super and ti version coming out is just going to cost even more to be able to get these nice visuals in 4k and raytracing. Why i don't play games anymore like i did years ago i just cant afford to keep up with it all the cost it is insane. Yes this would be another game i would play just to see the visuals for what i paid for the insane amount of money that it cost me just to last about 2 years until the next new gpu and cpu comes out to play the next gen games. Why i am bored of gaming as there is nothing out there that my pc can play with high fps and with nice visual my 3080 is to old and just cant keep up with 4k with these new games now
@@bioshock6935 Played the game on my 1070 back when it was released at 1080p/High......and was blown away with the graphics. I can only imagine how amazing this would look at 4k. Unless I am mistaken, 3080 should be comfortable at 4k on this game.
@@bioshock6935 This game ran at 1440p stable 60fps (max graphical settings) with my old rig: gtx 1070 8gb vram, 8gb ddr4 ram, intel i5-8400. It's an old game -- well optimized and not many textures loading in at once. You can get this experience for well under 1000€ today. This is the power of good art direction.
I remember 100%ing this game and hating playing the maps over and over... until i did it. Bliss. Walking around and feeling everything like i did for the first time. I miss the Dishonored games. I have his mask. I have the ring. I have the pin... Oh i love this game with all my heart
Beautiful game. And it had one of the best levels that i have ever played in a game ( in 30 years), the one where you can see a mansion in the present and in the past , trough a device.
This might be an odd request but one of things I like to do is swim about in Avatar Final frontier. You can last a surprisingly long time without breathing and some of the under water scenes are gorgeous. It would be nice to see this more hidden side of Avatar shown more.
It's great that cult games like Dishonored 2 are getting the attention they deserve, but 2 hours 16 minutes for such an awesome game seems like very short, all the locations are shown briefly, many interiors are skipped, the video does not show the transformation of ClockWork Mansion which is very cool implemented in the game - to watch how all these creaking mechanisms come into motion, rebuilding the layout of the interiors before your eyes ... besides, I'm not sure that the game needs a reshade, in my opinion the original warmer range conceived by the developers more accurately reflects the mood and character of the game. I would like to see more videos on this game and perhaps on Dishonored 1 . In any case, thanks for the work done, I watched the video in one breath.
I completely agree about the color palette, in the original Karnaca is a warm coastal town, which is both attractive due to its climate and at the same time repulsive due to social stratification and totalitarian power. Thanks to this contrast, this special, incomparable feeling from the atmosphere of the game is created. With a cold reshade, part of the magic of Karnaca is lost.
Did you use possession to be able to walk calmly past the guards, or was it a mod? Either way, it's just beautiful. Would love be able to walk around like this in game without the drama.
It's been a while since I played Dishonored and I don't know why I don't remember the game has done such an amazing job with the ambient sounds. This makes me want to replay.
This is a really awesome city for a video game to tour and walk around in as well as experiencing the beautiful countryside and scenery on the docks looking out at the ocean, walking along the city streets and the greeting locals that live here looking at the magnificent buildings and all of the other interesting places above and below this unusual looking city to explore. thank you for the great tour of this awesome city and have a really nice week everyone.🌇🌉🌃
In terms of lore and world building, Dishonored was so good that it’s very heartbreaking we don’t have more of it.
Simply lovely.) Best youtube ambient walker and one of the best games ever finally met each other.) Thank you for your work, man!
Couldn't agree more. 100%. Thanks very much for this.
Very interesting and unusual format, but I liked it, very cool atmosphere of the game. Respect to the author, continue at the same pace.
The details in each level are just off the scale.
Each level is an oil painting in motion.
Freaking amazing game.

Totally agreed, a graphical powerhouse of a game.

This game was something else. Something we'll never see again.

A shame they didn't make more. One of my favourits.

Nice!
impressive. Will you do the same with the dlc?
If it’s anywhere near as gorgeous as this, for sure!

Wow! Increíble 👍👏👏I could stay in these alternate worlds for hours.
Thank You for a great video.
Dishonored is a great game thanks Daydream ❤
Is it just me or did that statue at the end kinda look like Rosalind Myers’s from cyberpunk phantom liberty.

Best one ever ❤
I would love to see some of these amazing ambience walks in the bioshock games. They have such a utterly unique, terrifying and beautiful atmosphere.
Could you do a video of stalker 2 when its out?
Definitely, can’t wait 😊
I love the atmosphere of Dishonores series.
