You have set the Bar High.
Naval News is the Bench Mark to beat , if others can, in International Naval News Reporting.
Wish you had a longer version vids as well for major naval trade shows.
Keep it Up and Thank You.

3:54. Uhm...ASALM got to Mach 5.4, with an integral solid rocket booster, in a package about the size of JASSM, over 40 years ago.

ASALM only reached testing phase, although i definitely agree with the overall implication of your post. The Navy is being awfully complacent and lackadaisical with these retarded 10 year timelines. China isnt gonna wait until 2030 to make its move, those assholes are prepping to do it in 2 years if they need to. WTF is the Navy doing? How the fuck can India, China, and Russia already have 300-600 mile Mach 3+ (or Mach 6+ Zircon) missiles while we've waited till now to even think about developing one?
We wasted 60 billion on LCS and Zumwalt. And we literally just sat and watched as China and Russia developed longer and longer range supersonic antiship missiles to threaten the literal lifeblood of our Navy, our carriers, while we didnt do a single godforsaken thing to extend the reach and speed of our own air and ship launched missile - the ancient Harpoon.

Mistake of my life: Selling Lockheed Martin stock just before the war in Ukraine broke out.

Indeed shortening travel time is the most crucial use for hypersonic speed. While they are large & heavy, no problem when land-launched where they can support combat vessels from afar

Sir, take mk81 jdam in a sabot and put it on an Aim-54 rocket motor. That should get it moving.

(paraphrasing) 'the manufacturer says it will go very fast and very far' Can't get much better than that! 🙂
