Thank you, yes mine is done an running great, just doing a few small things, like making a chainsaw mount, adding one or to police car spotlights ,making the.mounta is a challenge since there made for the ford pillar, but I'm almost done.i like the idea of being able to move the light beam where I want it,so a fixed beam light wasn't a choice for me but police car spot lights work great an only 50$ each near me from police cars.
Great to see this video. I did one last year and pulled the transmission out from the frame. Now I have another motor to fix and I was going to do the same. This is much easier! Thanks
I work for a Kubota dealer and have changed several engines in these RTV's. I do them pretty much the same as you did yours. No need to separate the rear section as the manual says. I have one just like yours which I bought from a customer last year and am overhauling it completely. They are great machines and as long as you keep the engines cool, they will run nearly forever! Good luck with your machine and God bless!
Cool is it! If ykur saw one of my videos,I show where I use a tractor fan an junked the rtv fan.works great. Stays nice an cool.blades are a inch longer an one more blade over stock.i even cut the underseat plastic an molded the area a bit bigger just to have extra clearance for the bigger fan.although I don't think it was necessary, but it was close,so I decided to make more clearance just for piece of mind
I noticed this one doesn’t have the plastic over the seats nor the flat panel that holds the electrical connectors in the back of the seat rest. Does the motor clear that or do you have to remove those things? The fan blades also?
My reverse shift fork broke, I believe. So I guess I'll have to pull the transmission from the engine and take apart the front portion of the trans to change that fork. Can I purchase just a shift fork?
Hello,i honestly can't remember this second,I'm having a long hard day..give me a day to think about that... offhand I believe yrs..but you have to remove transmission bolts for the mounts.....an tilt the engine a bit.
The serial number on it,was ment for a "zt" zero turn.its didn't come out of anything, it was a new crate. Same engines an many many different applications from rtv,zt,to light towers.all will work but some require much more modifications than others
Thanks for this video, I have an RTV900 that needs a new engine and this was helpful. Wishing you good luck with the rebuild.

Can you change the oil pan without pulling the motor
