In this video I'll show you how to assemble beekeeping equipment. When assembling beekeeping equipment it is very important to use glue on your frames and on assembling normal beehives. No matter if you're using nails or a nail gun always use glue. Bees Castle was good enough to send me the equipment that we assembled in this video. One of the reasons I wanted to do this video was because I wanted to see the quality that bee castle was putting out. I must say that I am impressed with the product that I received. If you want to check this company out simply go to www.beecastleltd.com/?ref=_sX.... I am always a fan of buying local but if you can't or don't have a local beekeeping supplier by all means check this company out. Hope you enjoyed the video if you got any questions leave them in the comments below and he's always will see you on the next one.

You’re absolutely correct on proper nails or staples and glue!!! They will definitely come apart if you don’t! Thanks!

That looks like a quality setup, Daryl. Loved the comforting sounds of a real working farm, brought back a lot of good memories. I used to hang out helping my Dad do stuff just like this, fetching screwdrivers and other tools for him. LOL, I guess some might be bored with watching someone else assemble a beehive kit, but I find it soothing--carpentry ASMR. Thanks for reviewing this, and blessing to you and the family.

Beecastle is all I have used for hives. I am a first timer this yr but very first hive setup had a dovetail that had a knot on it. They sent me a whole entire New setup just cuz that. Awesome customer service and awesome hives.

I agree with you they are very easy to assemble with the dovetail joints. I purchased the same one as you assembled and like you, I am impressed with the build quality. I think the wood it's made of is cedar, which is another plus. Good video as always!!!! ✌🏻

Very good video. I bought a deep hive from bee castle and love it, hive body was very well waxed.

The joints are dovetailed. Really nice type of joint since you can’t glue the waxed sides. I built a jig to build 10 frames at a time. But I have to be in production mode to build 100 frames.

I own 2 of these 1 is a 8 frame and the other is a 5 frame nuc . I like the hive boxes they a great fitting and tight. My only problem with them is the wax dipped gets twice as hot as the other ones i have. You really need a screen bottom board with these and a notched inner cover for ventilation. It gets hot in north alabama and that's my only thing with them i have to keep them in the shade or the wax melts out of them also. Great video and hope to see you soon. ❤️🐝

Sorry I can’t agree. Chinese pine is too dry due to import requirements. Overly dried wooden ware is like handling styrofoam and is fragile. In addition the wax the brood/medium box is coated in cannot be verified safe. Their methods of applying the liquid form of the active ingredients of Apistan involves too much risk of highly contaminated materials.

You do understand that US exports lumber right?

@@dfishman76 it’s the Chinese bees wax that has the risk of contamination. They over saturate their colonies with the liquid form of apistan which is too readily absorbed in their wax.
Don’t get me wrong I love what you do with your videos and have been watching since before the bumblebee video. Keep up the outstanding work you do.
