This pods a gem. Crazy how it hasnt blown up. I wasborn in 95. Both of my goats talking in this capacity is truly a blessing to watch thank you
Wayne probably loved that you didn’t really talk about music at all. He has to do that enough.
Lil Wayne is a straight boss. He got the lyrics, tha fakie shoves, he rockin the guitar, tatted face, he honoring the legacy of his mentor, chiefin' blunts; this is bringing tears to my eyes. And I'm one of the toughest, hardest bosses, and best looking muthas of all time!
never seen someone talking positive about face tats tbh😂
i like that you think otherwise than most people
I love Wayne but he can‘t play guitar at all 😂
Your 540 at Vert Alert made me cry tears of joy!!! #LEGEND
Skating is the only community where introverts can go and be happy to be socialising.
So much love for lil wayne. After all waynes accomplishments he remains so humble and down to earth
He's one of us for sure.
Feel like this is the happiest I’ve ever seen lil Wayne “publicly” amazing, makes me happy
All jokes aside, this is one of the best skate interviews I’ve ever seen! Surreal and wholesome.
Damn, lil Wayne really fucking loves to skate.
I thought the same thing...most genuine ive seen him do an interview ever
TAPPING IN 🔥🎤🛹
Didn’t even know Hawk had his own podcast. What an introduction 👍🏾
Same here! Supercool. Love both these guys.
Im just glad Wayne found skateboarding. As soon as he found skateboarding he stopped doing lean. Just genuinely happy for him. I always loved Tony & Wayne. Y'all know the saying. SKATE OR DIE 💜
He still does lean.
@@cantskateswitchlikethatwhy you lying? He gave that shit up years ago 😂
@@static_wi9398His tunes got better when he got off that shit. He was using it as a crutch but it was more like a wheelchair in my opinion. Can't run in a wheelchair.
How does this podcast not have more views? Its way better than 90% of the stuff out there.
I saw this and thought, “Woah, Tony Hawk x Lil Wayne. This must have 10 million views already.” Then I remembered what year it was and that i’m old now 😂
The humility it takes for someone who has made it in an industry where appearance is almost everything, to take something up like skateboarding is inspiring. Props Wayne.
Also! Jason's excitement on talking about Vert Skating with Wayne was awesome!
wayne is a legend. I'd cry tears of joy to skate with him.
The way that Lil Wayne describes his mind during skating is exactly how I feel when riding my motorcycle
Wayne is so humble this interview is legendary.
My first trick was a kickflip after learning ollie's and 180s. Took frickin HOURS and I screamed when it landed.
30 years later and it's still my favorite trick.
Respect to Tony and Jason for embracing Wayne, who I now know is a proper skater.
🤜💥🤛
I would have to say hands down. This was one of the best podcasts. I have listened in a long time. The one and only. Hawk 🦅 the Wolf 🐺 and Wayne💯
Skate Wayne!!!!!! Best guest by far & best rapper alive!
this was unbelievably enjoyable to listen to, PLEASE have him on more often. you can see in his eyes how much he loves skating
I love this as a skater since 13 y/o i'm 35 now seeing all my friends fall off this shit makes me fuck with lil wayne that much more as a person not even an artist.. Respect ❤
I don’t know if I am more excited that Jason knocked out the ads this week or that Lil Wayne was the guest. It’s actually friggin awesome to see him looking more confident doing the ads broken up bit by bit.
This is the first interview I've ever seen him enjoy.
Ive always wanted to know what his skater origin story was. So pure. Skating is a special kind of magic
The podcast was probably Top 3 in the category of “collabs I never knew I needed”. ✊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
wttttfffffff dudes you making me happyyyyyy…its 6 am here and im already hyped for this. please never stop this pod ❤❤❤❤thank you guys
@31:14 the cold plunge section, the laughter of everyone made me happy too. This episode made me like Lil Wayne a lot more. He so cool.
55:10 This moment genuinely made me smile.. Grew up playing THPS and I could only imagine how surreal it must have been to skate at the same location! What a dope conversation 🔥🔥
That solitude, that peace of mind, that joy of doing something just for you.... 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised'
how can you not love lil Wayne the journey this man went through and all the growing he did as a man is inspiring. Such a humble and truly genuine soul. I am glad I got to witness his whole journey so far from Da block is hot to skating Wayne the man is 1 in a million. Also gotta love how he never put that roach down even though it wasn't lit. WEEZY is the 🐐
Alright. When I first heard Lil Wayne was skating I instantly thought of a Kardasian in a Metallica shirt. This is not that - He is legit.
And now he has a new fan.
The more I listen to this podcast, the more I start to like Lil Wayne. Real g
They both really blew up during the same era so they can relate alot. Im 36 and i am from New Orleans and i remember vividly listening to different Cash Money albums while playing Tony Hawk lol
Awesome! Super stoked for this podcast.
This is pure gold. These guys made my childhood and seeing them together hanging out, makes me love them even more
I didnt know how into skating lil wayne was, i just know that he skates. thats really all that mattered. but to hear him talk about just how much he loves it. thats too dope. He is funny as shit, and has a crazy good way of explaining things. Plus he putting is team in the spotlight to show they are hardcore skilled skaters. Much respect to lil wayne, and you guys for an awesome interview.
Honestly one of the best skate interviews ever. Wayne's passion for skating is 100% real and it's incredible to listen to.
Love this episode. I've been dying to hear Wayne really talk about skating. Could you guys get Antwuan Dixon on in the future?
lil wayne has been and will always be my favorite rapper ever I still listen to all his songs all of em new and old
The F is for Fakie Shuv

I love how yall broke down the psychology of skateboarding! This is revolutionary.
So much respect to Wayne, this was an amazing interview. Had me smiling the whole time.
It truly admire Wayne for developing the itch for skating like we all have, and even when I thought it was just gonna be like a phase thing for him, dude is still skating daily and that is heart warming for me. Don’t matter who you are or where you come from, if you get that itch…it’s on! 100% skater SK8 or DIE
Lil Wayne is such a humble guy! I really respect that!
mannnnn when i first heard lil' wayne skated i thought "oh great just another dude trying to leach off skateboarding" (Very negative thought to have about a dude you don't know) and then I got to meet him and skate with him at Skatepark of Tampa years ago. Wayne is one of the most GENUINE and rad dudes. you could tell he LOVES skateboarding and that is rad. i was already a fan of his music, but I became of fan of him as a human. Class Act for sure.
So cool how skateboarding brings so many people together!❤
I'm not much into the Skating community, or a big fan of Lil' Wayne, just the usual stuff.
But this was an amazing episode to listen to. The energy, dedication and just the whole vibe is magnetic to listen to!
lil Wayne is genuinely a figure of artistry that should be celebrated
I really like a lot of shit he said too. Like when he did that interview with that cop. Oh my God what a dickhead! He seems like a genuinely good dude. Sarcastic as shit. But also, generally nice to us normal folks.
Tbh i love this . I like hearing lil wayne speak 🗣️ and share more of his happiness in what he does beyond the music .
This is so sick! My childhood all in one podcast room 😂
Wayne is such a genuine dude. No bullshit about him whatsoever
I remember when Wayne started skating, I hated it. I thought he was just trying to do some trendy stuff, but I was way wrong. That dude loves the sport.
I'm glad he kept skating I am also glad he stopped fucking with the guitar 😂
