Last fall, a neck injury left Ethan paralyzed. Now in his recovery, there's no place he'd rather be than in the company of his teammates and best friends.

I think that people may not realize is that the attention goes away. Friends graduate and move away or move on with their lives. it’s just the natural progression that happens as you move to adulthood. Ethan is not going to be able to transition easily, it’s going to take a lot longer and he will likely need full time care for the rest of his life. It makes socializing difficult and job opportunities limited. I know he’ll do just fine but it will be a huge challenge. I hope that in his lifetime spinal cord injuries can be reversed. It doesn’t have to be doom and gloom but the reality of the situation has to be taken seriously. It looks like his family is terrific though and will help him make the best life possible for himself. It will look different but it isn’t all bad.

It's understandable these news channels can't go in with a attitude of Gloom & Doom to a already tragic situation but they make it feel like being paralysed is the best thing ever yayyy everyone should be that life will be fun. But with that being said i do wish him all the best and sending prayers all the way from India 🙏🏽

No man, I think you miss the point! I think they are trying to show that life can be handled with grace even in the most difficult of circumstances! See, in our poorer countries ( I am from Ukraine) people, even able bodied don’t feel as if they can achieve things and the society puts emphasis only on things like huge wealth or sexy beauty... But here small achievements are self rated and they should be as life is always life and giving up should never be an option
